As far as hotels, the Coconut Cay still has rooms available. They are going to give us the "off season rates" for the skydivers coming to the boogie. Room rates are as follows: "We are happy to offer the same discount as last year: doubles and standards at $79, dockside rooms at $89 and Dockside and Courtyard kitchens at $99. I have set a block of rooms aside, so email asap with the nights you will be staying and the room you desire. The Blackfin Inn (http://www.blackfinresort) and Sombrero Resort (http://www.sombreroresort.com) will be used as back ups incase we fill Coconut Cay. I was going to hold off posting this till next week..... But the snow has made me change my mind! The 5th Annual January Keys Boogie is on. Traditionally in the past it has been more of an invitational for the staff of a northern DZ. This year we are going to open it up a little. Details so far: Dates: Friday Jan 28 through Tuesday Jan 31 Must have a C-license in hand Must have flotation device Cessna Grand Caravan This is a pretty tight landing area and not for people with so-so canopy skills. If your coming from the north we highly recommend you take a day or two to get current in Miami.
