  3. Hey- I'm not sure when I'll be at Perris but yeah, I'm smuggling in some shirts. My cell in the states will be 760 207 6321 e-mail guyak1@hotmail.com Maybe we can hook-up . . . C-Yaz!
  4. Hi you guys! Just checking in- Thanks for the support with the Skydiving T-shirt Archive! There's a handful of classics I need to photograph and get on there- Hall of Shamers, every one. One of those classics I just found on-line and for sale!! velocitysportswear.com in Texas has the original "Sport Death" T-shirt from the mid 70's. It's a distortion of the USPA emblem, anti-establishment kind of thing. I bought mine from Gulch jumpers John & Jerry Wilsey at the Elsinore Ghetto around ´75 or ´76 (those days are a wee bit hazy) and that shirt saved my ass big time one night in Escondido! A great story- I guess I'll write it if anyones's interested . . . I'll be in Perris in a couple weeks- C-Ya!! Guy
  5. Hey Murr! "Let's be Careful Out There" was from Mike Michigan, mid 80's ?- He may have commissioned the art from Rickerby, I'm not sure, good chance though . . . Wish I had one (o:
  6. Pat Swovelin commissioned that shirt from a Perris artist/jumper (forgot his name) for the Freak Bros. Convention in Freeport, Ill., '85 I believe it was. Roger was organizing record attempts, that's what the shirt's about. Re: Those record attempts- the pressure was so fierce that when one jumper went low, he pulled his main then immidiately cutaway to get back up and make another approach! And he almost made it!! Roger was impressed but after it happened again and a near miss with photagraher Randy DiLuca, he banned the practice- Thanks for posting the photo! Guy
  7. Ok, I'll see what I can find out. Didn't Thundercloud do the art and have the printing done? I've been tracking down classic shirts for my t-shirt archive and that's one that should be in there as well- Take a look: www.alternativ-screen.se then click on the print shop photo G

  10. Hey dare! Yup, still alive and well- how's it? I'm still getting orders for the BSBD and EFS shirts, amazing, thanks you guys! I was thinking about doing a run of the classic "GROUND BUSTERS" t-shirt. Same price, same super high quality shirts (ash gray), fast delivery, any interest out there? If so, answer this or e-mail me at guy@alternativ-screen.se Reminder: My Skydiving T-shirt Archive can be found at: www.alternativ-screen.se Just click on the printing machine photo- The Ground Busters design can be viewed there as well. 11. Howdy folks! It's really been fun bringing back these shirts for you guys as well as getting e-mails from jumper around the globe! You guys are alright . . . (o: The fam damily and I are leaving in a few days for a month in the states, which means no t-shirts available until the 2nd week of Jan. Hopefully I'll run into a few of you at Perris wearing your new/old shirts- the beer's on me! My new website is www.alternativ-screen.se When you get there, click on the wee photo on the left and you'll come to the Skydiving T-shirt Archive. That's about it- Have a terrific holiday! Guyronimo & Tribe
  12. Guy here- Thanks for the link help Jakee- This collection of classic skydiving t-shirt designs is for your viewing pleasure. It's pretty raw right now, but the viewing quality is supurb at Google's Picasa site and I think better then if they were at a regular site. The "Skydiving T-shirt Archive" idea was to show my own favorite designs, even those that I didn't do, as well as you jumpers out there taking digital photos of your own favorite classic T's and mailing them to me with a little history. When the archive gets closer to complete, I can organize them into time periods and throw in some photos that fit the era, with it's own dedicated site. Right now at the archive, there's two designs that aren't mine: "No shit, there I was . . ." by Rob Thundercloud around ´82, I think- And the reaper crew shirt from the Perris Ghost Riders- mid- 90's (I didn't print that one). EFS and BSBD Shirts: I'm out of mediums but there's plenty of the other sizes still for sale, so order them before it's too late! (This year's hot Christmas gift . . .) That's it, thanks for your support! Guyronimo & Tribe Huskvarna, Sweden http://picasaweb.google.com/Alternativ.ScreenAB
  13. Hi fans (o: I'm trying out an idea here- click on the link: http://picasaweb.google.com/Alternativ.ScreenAB or, paste it in, and in theory, you'll come to a photo album of some of my old t-shirt designs. Assuming this works, I'll add a bunch more with a little history written under each. Check it out, post what you think. Enjoy- Guyronimo
  14. Hi Folks! Just checkín in . . . As of right now, there's no shirt orders that haven't been shipped. If you haven't recieved your shirts by the end of the month (Halloween), please write. Of the 80 or so packages I've sent, I know of 3 that are late. I think they'll all make it through, some fast, some not so fast. The bottom line is that I guerantee your order- money back or a new attempt at mailing your order. That's it, thanks for your support! Guyronimo & Tribe Huskvarna, Sweden
  15. Attached photo: EFS shirts being printed- direct screen printing, 5 screens, 6 colors (one more color then the original from ´83, grey). They really came out nice, it was very cool to see this classic come back to life (o: U.S. customers: A shipment of shirts will arrive in the states next Tues., Oct. 17th, so your shirts will be mailed domestic. e-mail ordering is still guy@mailbox.calypso.net Specify payment, PayPal or check and don't forget your shipping address! I don't respond to your orders unless you have a question. Your shirts will be mailed when the payment is in- Both EFS & BSBD are the same price: $30.00 for the first shirt, $25.00 after that, shipping included. Next design, any requests? The original "Skydive City" design from ´91 is hot in my opinion. I'll have to post a photo . . . Anyway, thanks for the support & enjoy your shirts safely! Guyronimo
  16. Ordering shirt: Hi again- So far, ordering, paying for, and recieving your shirts has been working out well. There's just a couple things I'm working on so we can continue to do this without any snags. This isn't firm just yet, but what I want to do is ship a quantity of shirts to my contact in the states, and pay customs. Then when you place an order, your shirts will be mailed from inside the USA- it'll be faster, and there won't be the risk of your package getting hung-up in customs. That hasn't happened yet that I know of, but it could, as I'm writing the package is a "gift" or "commercial samples". We also may do just PayPal and drop the checks-to-my-brother thing, it's the modern way to go. Anyway, all of you who ordered both BSBD & EFS shirts will recieve an e-mail from me- I'm ready to take orders for both designs! Have a fine weekend! Guyronimo
  17. Hi you guys! (Any ladies out there?) It's been a real honor and a definate kick to have my own personal t-shirt fan club here at dz.com! The response to putting the BSBD shirt back into production has been overwhelming and great fun! I've been doing my absolute best work for you, printing on the best shirts I can find, and shipping your order immediately for the best possible delivery time, even though your shirts are coming from Northern Europe. The feedback at this thread seems to indicate 100% satisfaction so far, so let's press on! I'm set-up and ready to print a run of EFS shirts today- Check back here for more info, which I'll post here later today or tomorrow. Thanks again! Guy
  18. Dear T-shirt customers! Thanks for all the orders and interest! I've been shipping as soon as your e-mailed orders came in and not waiting until payment, so some of you guys should be getting your shirts right about now. Feel free to write a little review here- shirt and print quality, service, etc. (o: If you're out there " T LaVonne" , I needed to contact you and your e-mail wasn't working for me- e-mail me your shipping address- Preferred payment in the U.S. is still a check payable to: Alex MacLachlan 8132 Avenida Mil Flores Bonsall, Ca. 92003 If you must use PayPal, just specify on the order- For those of you who ordered EFS as well, I'll be printing and shipping them next week. That's it, be safe, death kills! Guyronimo
  19. Guy here- Yeah, it seems everyone wants to use PayPal. I'd like you U.S. jumpers to just send a check to my brother for tax reasons & so the money could just go to my mom. But if you want to use PayPal, go head. Just specify in your order e-mail- check or PayPal. Thanks! Guy
  20. Hi again- Here's a photo of the classic EFS shirt from ´83. The design was altered around '92, bringing the jumpsuit up-to-date, and a few other small adjustments. The shirt looks way better then the photo, the flash washed out the colors a bit and it's not real sharp- but you'll get the idea . . . I've been getting a lot of requests for this one as well so it's next in line- I'll let you all know when it's available. That's all, thanks for all the orders, have a fine weekend! Guy
  21. Good tip, thanks bob.dino! Using PayPal for ordering BSBD shirts from outside the USA: Hi again- Shipping prices to Europe and everywhere alse were about same as the states, so I'm going to keep the prices the same, $30. for the first shirt, $25. after that, max order 8 shirts. I just signed up at Paypal, so that may be the best and easiest way to do business with you non-Americans. When you place an order, e-mail it to guy@mailbox.calypso.net, don't forget your mailing address! You'll then recieve an e-mail invoice back requesting an amount due from Paypal in dollars. You can pay with a credit card there. I'll recieve an e-mail from Paypal when the amount due is in my Paypal account, then your shirts will be shipped. Pretty slick, yes? Right now, I have just the BSBD shirt available, but the EFS shirt is next in line. I'll post info with photos at the same thread on dropzone.com when new shirts designs are ready for ordering. That's about it, thanks you guys- I'm getting orders from all over the place!! Guyronimo
  22. Hi again- Ok, here's the deal: $30. buys the first shirt, $25. after that, max order, 8 BSBD shirts. When your check clears, I'll mail your shirt(s) the same day, airmail. Total wait, about 1 to 2 weeks after you e-mail your order. (Shipping cost from Europe to USA per shirt is about $10. each, which is included in the shirt price). Make check payable to: Alex MacLachlan 8132 Avenida Mil Flores Bonsall, Ca. 92003 Please write "BSBD shirt" somewhere on check! e-mail order to: guy@mailbox.calypso.net Outside USA: Same prices and order info as above, except- Mail international money order or bank check in dollars to- Guy MacLachlan Hakarpsvagen 112 56139 Huskvarna, Sweden e-mail order (same) guy@mailbox.calypso.net Attached is a photo I took this morning in the print shop- Thanks for the interest- you first trusting customers be sure to write something here when you get your shirts!! BSBD, Guyronimo
  23. Back atcha- Welp, I finally printed up a run of BSBD t-shirts! Working with the original color seps and films was a trip, like working with something ancient from an archive deep in the cellar of the a skydiving museum (o: Anyway, I used my old school technics from the ´80's on a modern manual screen printer, new screens & custom blended Wilflex ink for a perfect reproduction of the original- they came out hot! I 'll get back here tomorrow for order info, and I'll take some photos in the printshop- maybe some of you might be into that . . . Ciao for now, Guy MacLachlan, Huskvarna, Sweden
  24. "Tak'in the edge off" by Dennis "Rabbit" Bahen around 1974. Call him, maybe he has one for you: Dennis and Chris 760 746 9945 Guy
  25. Hi again! So, you sicko's still want my shirts- Ok, I'll have to figure out something after we get back from summer vacation. The main deal is that these shirts have to be hand screenprinted by me, the artist, here in Sweden or it just ain't the same. Then I can ship over a couple boxes to Square One (I assume) or a good contact who wants to deal with the mail order stuff. I've done over 100 original skydiving T-shirt designs dating back to 1974, but I think those 2 classics, EFS & BSBD would be a good start. Note: I made some slight improvements on EFS some years back (booties and grips on the jumpsuit) but other then that, those shirts will be exactly the same, printed on Beefy-T type heavy cotton T's. Probably long arm black shirts for EFS like the originals. 6 to 8 color print quality will be a bit better as materials and machines have improved since the early ´80´s. Black Death shirts: Yeah, there's a fine line there- but there's some real history behind those designs as many of you know, and the message was safety. I could write a book . . . Anyway, thanks for surviving, it's nice to have a bunch of you guys still around to write to! Guy
