They tell me the therapy will be worse at home, and I have to be tested at home each day for Coumadin levels but at least I'm in my own bed and get to choose the babysitters I have at night. I'm *tremendously* grateful to my skydiver friends that spent every night with me in ICU and then in Critical care, and those few nights in the rehab center. I'm lucky in more ways than I care to count. Can't wait to get back into the sky, but it'll be a while. Thank you all again for the encouraging PM's, posts, cards, etc. I'm overwhelmed when I consider how few people in this sport actually know me, but have taken the time out to offer encouragement. The therapy is tough - I think I was doing 2-3 hours of therapy a day to get back.....that was just with the ACL/MCL/Lat Meniscus. But I am kind of an honery bitch too --- ; You are making great progress Spot; Keep hanging in there -you have people who have your back and are cheering you on. Being at home in your own environment and being able to sleep in your own bed are great comforts and you will rest better. We had a totally FABULOUS weekend at elsinore! but also glad to be home :15:1 ---- and 15minutes in the tunnel at perris. A big thanks to Mel - you rock chica! I learned a ton this weekend and am excited to take things home. The beer is for jumping out of the Porter....although i have to say it is not my favorite aircraft to jump out of. Lots of RW this weekend from 2 ways up to an 8 way ---all jumps were great learning experiences. Was signed up for a canopy control course but it got cancelled.---all was good though as i got to do the excel camp instead. Thanks Elsinore peeps ---- you guys rock! I'm at 38 ... we would probably go early if i didn't have the kids and had to work the tandem clipboard at the home dz....ah....do we need to bring bling for this trip??? Spot, thanks so much for letting us know of your recollection of the incident. doc and i think of you often and are thankful you are still here to grace us with your smile. let us know if you need anything.....hopefully we will see you soon. C- ETA: PT's are tough but with patience persistence and a little feistiness you will be thankful for them as they get you stronger, faster -------- I had a total lovehate thing for my PT with the knee....but thankful for them as they allowed me to return to the sport sooner than expected.

:5:0 mostly carnage but boy was it fun. 3 way tube exit with 2 of my very favorite skydiving chica's - as well as an 8 way where i didn't totally screw it up---been a lot of growing pains lately with coming back from the injury but it is getting better.
