  1. Hey Lainey, did you go to DZ today? I did but could not locate you.... however most of time I was hiding indoors studying and consulting with instructors for the upcoming A exam Didn't get to jump at all bloody wild wind! I really don't plan to go there Sunday as well... but if I don't, this will be the first weekend I get a zero jump number... ahhh... delimma... can't predict te weather as I don't have God's number keep jumping ... 2. Welcome to the sports I can't help picturing you doing RW, having a bunch of audience around you cracking up or doing some funky fighting style freefly keep jumping ... Chrissie where women roar and men thunder

  4. Words of wisdom! couldn't agree more! I must say it is not my nature to be forgiving, but I do try not to 'hold a grudge' - normally by diverting attention to something else if possible. To me time is the best cure - whatever negative feelings tend to fade, if not gone entirely. But the hardest I find is to forgive myself for stupid things I have done/said in the past... keep jumping ... Chrissie where women roar and men thunder
  5. after 1st F-up... i sort of froze at 2nd jump - didn't perform all dockings and did a wobbly tracking - my brain was full of 'alti alti alti' throughout the freefall Felt even more pathetic when people came to congratulate me for remembering to pull above 3000.... how embarrassing. I deserve a good flogging for that stupid stunt! Walt - what a great story, should be classfied in fiction category keep jumping ... Chrissie where women roar and men thunder
  6. 1 F*-up jump pulled way too low, barely beat the cypres Hey Dave - I hope he's all right. I was just heading back to the city when it happened. What a terrible weekend... keep jumping ... Chrissie where women roar and men thunder
  7. Welcome to the sky SKYOCEAN! Be patient and you'll finish AFF course before you know it! I am novice just completed F course 2 weeks ago! Also a rider myself I honestly think there's a connection between rider and skydiver... we have so many bikies in my home DZ and we've formed a group - Skybikers - couple jumps then go for a ride! Because of this new hobby, now my planned 2nd bike's budget goes to jump tickets and equipment and rig... and my bike has been in the shop for repair, so I got to finish the F course in 1 month (no weekend riding)... these 2 hobbies are in love and hate situation with each other I think keep jumping ... 15. Thank you mama for the welcome... yes indeed we should have a big OZ boogie -- in fact, there is one biggest fun-filled annual OZ boogie coming in October - Equinox in Queensland!!! 16. G'day FW Nagambie! another cool DZ in VIC (I reckon there are 3 icons in each east coast state - it's Nagambie in VIC, Picton in NSW, and Ramblers in QLD, but that's just me opinion) Well, you'll get there in no time.... I only felt like I'd never finish F course not long ago... now I am in B-rel, but slowly, coz I am doing loads of fun jumps... Nagambie -- I will jump there hopefully sooner than later! I may go to VIC for MotoGP this September, and will definitely drop in!!! keep jumping ... Chrissie where women roar and men thunder
  17. G'day boys and girls I am a rookie from the land down under! My home DZ is in Sydney (or close enough). I have only just picked up this expensive hobby around Easter 2006 - yes last month, and I am addicted...... Now I am doing my B-rel course (completed F course 2 weeks ago!) I am a slow learner (well... old dog with new tricks really) but I don't care No matter how badly I have done in each instructed jump, I still have fun anyway!!! I am pretty lucky that in my home DZ there are heaps of experienced and famous icons that I can learn from, or simply watched them and drool DZ is my oasis, I love spending time there, I think all skydivers are cool and frinedly and like FW said, even when I can't jump due to various reasons, I still enjoy talking to people and pick their brain. VIVA skydivers! keep jumping ... Chrissie where women roar and men thunder
