    That's the pisser, isn't it? I would feel really bad having to beg another container just to accomodate a larger-packing main. I can't fit anything larger than my current Velo 84 and Sabre2 97 in my W1 EXT Wings. That said, if the only thing you are going to use that canopy for is hop and pop swooping, then I guess you don't really need to waste a lot of money (or beg additional sponsorship) when you could just as easilly put it in a used, larger container.

    Nice one, Bill! Anyway, the rare-earth magnets that are becoming vogue these days are cool! Tony Uragallo is using them as zipper keepers and leg-wing-holder-uppers on his new wingsuits with great success.

    I am a firm believer in the CAT A training tandem for people considering skydiving as a sport. If you can perform all the TLO's on that skydive ( I actually have them do turns as well), then you will know, right then, if it's worth your money to sit through the AFF ground course. I always ask my passenger/students if they plan on continuing in the sport. If they say yes, then I am going to train them as a CAT A student and have them deploy, etc. Chuck

    As of three weeks ago (last time I was in NC), she had not attended a course. The course she was prepping to go to ended up being a "closed", military-only course. Too bad. I told her to get her ass to a course this winter, somewhere it's warm. Chuck

    If you are going to do a second tandem, then why not do it as a CAT A training tandem? Definitely don't just go up for a carnival ride; make the jump count.

That said, if the guy is coming here specifically to jump wingsuits, and he isn't coming till december, then I am sure that he intends to make enough flights to qualify prior to leaving.     Z-hills will be flying at least two Otters seven days a week then. There are always wingsuit flyers here to jump with and you can even get a BMI rating if you like. You also have the opportunity to demo pretty much any suit you might want to try here. -places to stay on the DZ? check -food on the DZ? check -bar on the DZ? check -more active wingsuiters than any other DZ in the USA? check -great weather? check -multiple turbine aircraft flying seven days a week? check -full-time wingsuit organizers? check -great vibe? check Chuck
