I was on a tower last night at 320ft stowed. While sinching down legs and chest I got thinking about this subject and what has been discussed over the last few weeks since being in twin. I thought do I have more to gain by going stowed or hand held. Pretty easy exit point either way. Adding it all up I went HH. Which is the first time I ever have gone HH from this tower at this heigth. Not sure any of this helps but everything added up to HH. Then again maybe I am just a candy ass and skeert!!!!

A guy makes his first jump (PCA), doesn't unstow the brakes, pulls on front riser loops when everybody on the bridge is yelling, "Pop the toggles!!! Pop the toggles!!!", shlares the tarp with front seat belts and lands on the Bitch without a scratch. I think it's a damn good indicator. I was told and may have been bad info that this guy had zero BASE jumps as well as zero skydives. I watched him from the side fly straight forward after opening into the mud with both hands pulling on front risers.

They could start issuing paid permits for BASE jumping in their parks for additional revenue!!

This forum gets more ridiculous by the second! Its reminds me of 1st grade. I hate him because my buddy johnny hates him. I hate that kid because he is rich and popular. Jeb tries to jump the ESB now maggot and no one can jump any buildings in NY. Jeb ruined BASE for us all. Jeb is an idiot blah blah blah. Guess we all better go sell our gear. Poor Miles and Shane get no respect if they did anything like this all hell would break loose. Good gawd. Have you guys stepped back to look at what your saying? Get over yourselves if you have problems with any of these people step up to them tell them to their faces and quit spewing it out here on some message board. Oh yeah instead of bitching about Jeb, Miles, Shane, Maggot whomever etc and get out there and jump!

I had to run magots postings through http:// www.babelfish.com to try and understand what he was saying. As someone said... "objectburning" occurs only if the object is commonly jumped by others, while if is possible to jump the object only "once in the life" this cannot be considered a burning. Magot said in a pervious post there are no 'Locals' in NYC anymore an burns objects by vandalizing them and has posted picture to that effect.
