The Democratic Party said those votes wouldn't count because of the schedule change. Clinton went ahead, against the rules, and put her name on the ballot. Obama obeyed the rules of the game. Clinton cheated, hoping that she could eventually swing things in her direction. Fl. and Mich. have done the right thing by not allowing those votes to count.

What other people have to do to accomplish the same thing really doesn't matter to me. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The problem with that mentality is showing up in society today. We have ten year old kids who weigh 200lb. and couldn't walk a 1/4 mile, and would throw a fit if they had to. We now have young adults who couldn't balance a checkbook or add a single column of numbers, all because their parents want them to have an easier life. Another problem with everyone driving a Porche and living in a condo by the beach is that there's noone left to pick up the garbage. The fact is, that we've all been blessed with different talents, gifts,and drives. It's up to each one of us to look inside ourselves and decide that we are going to make the most of what we've been given. I see a guy at the corner of I-10 and US301 with a sign,everyday. Apparently, he's doing a good job and happy doing it. I don't see him throwing rocks or spitting at passing cars and trucks.

Here's the problem with the "Are you a racist?" game. First, it went from nigger to Negro. Then it went to having to refer to everyone as black. About the time we all got used to that, it changed to African-American. It's about keeping Whitey walking on eggshells. After all, their great great grandparents were slaves.

Hmmm. I don't recall a whole lot of fireworks over Condi Rice. Could it be that she's just in the wrong party? Or could it be that she's never made a big deal about being black. She just does her job. She has truly freed herself from the artificial bondage of race.

Listening to one McCain speech is different than saying to your wife, "I really like the message that's coming out of that preacher's mouth. Let's take the kids back, so he can fill their heads with that vitriol." People who are vehemently opposed to the concept of creationism surely aren't willingly sending or taking their children to an institution that teaches it.
