G Day I am going to be at LAX on friday 25 April to go to the Perris bigway camp in May and am wondering what is the best way to get to the DZ without hiring a car. Last time I was in LA public transport was on the crappy side of bad, so any help would be great. John

Just what I have heard and read in the financial world The main pointer is George has fucked the US economy and ours is still strong and will stay that way cause china is booming and they need the stuff we dig out of our ground, India will be next (just cause they will lose the cricket wont mean they wont buy our minerals Ha Ha) The sub prime has not had the full effect on the us yet and 5/6 weeks ago we were up to .93 cents when the sub prime thing started But hey it all could change when we wake up tomorrow

For us here in OZ I would not buy gear untill the middel of next year, all the pointers are for the aussie doller to get equal with the US$ and even go to 10/15 cents above the US$ so on that I would suggest that any aussies out their wait at least 6 months. Of course all the $ gurus could be wrong and the US$ could go up shit loads....... Nar not as long as george is around!!

Do ya have a web site for the small school that they are running? We are coming into the ski season here in OZ and "if" we get any snow my rig is coming with me to play. I would like to know their thoughts on winng loading etc. -

someone who is good at math should be abel to work this out; I did a tracking race once when we got out 4 miles(so the pilot said, pre GSP days) from the DZ at 8,000 or and I had just passed the DZ at opening hight of 2500. So if ya good at math work it out and if it is to fast then my memory is a crappy as my math

Jimmy; I have also got/had a crappy shoulder after dislocating and breaking it in a big way, to make it worse I have sever brain damage on the left side making my strength and dexterity on the broken right side NFG. I could do it fine standing up, but lay me down and it was a struggle. My solution was go for a leg pouch until I could confidently reach the BOC after a year+ off physio. The idea of a left deploy was to much retraining to me so the leg was the best way around seeing also that that is what I learned on so going back is always easy -

G Day I am thinking of getting into doing some camera stuff and I have looked on the net to come up with 3 options so far. I would like some opinions on them please 1 Panasonic NV GS 505 2 Cannon HV 10 3 JVC GZ-MG 505 4 Sony HDR HC 5/7 5 Anything else you can recommend I would like a camera with enough Megs to take very good still at the same time as it is also taking video. Various sight I look at say that they will/wont do this so I have decided that the net is great for getting info 'IF' you don't want the facts, so I am hoping for the real facts her guys. John
