Well.. if all went well with deployemnt... that leaves landing accidents.. I think everyone at one time or another has a little scrape from landing.. I docked on Sebazz.. Rookie was next to me, boyfalldown was on our legs.. There was also hookitt, girlfalldown, avgjoe, kermor, gian, vdschoor, the anvil, Dr. Death, skypup, lizzieb, tallguy, jams, Jsaxton, gjhdiver and ec14, right? Wow! the hostility! Yeah.. the policy sucks.. but they were hooking people up with local jumpers that were buying the tickets.. We normally pay $180 for a block of 10. I bought 1 for $18 and one for $15. I know it's less than the boogie rate of $19 but we had to pay $19 during the Boogie also and I ended up with a few of my own $19 tickets. So.. $3 down the tube.. Chicks might dig the Rascal Scooter... but very few whuffo chicks are going to be cool with you spending all your weekends at the dz. In my opinion, skydiving is not good for ongoing relationships.. as someoone else said though, it is good conversation filler and some women enjoy a challenge.. getting you away from the dz for a day might be that challenge.. After jumping a Javeline, Mirage G-3 and mirage G-4, I settled on a Voodoo. I couldn't be happier.. It is extremely comfortable.. excellent pin and bridle protection for freeflying and since it is not over-gadgetized, it is easy to pack.. It is in my opinion a well-designed, well-built rig and when the time comes, I am sure my next rig will also be a Voodoo..

Tehehe.. for the hybrids, it was belly flying skills that were lacking.. Jump 1... funneled base not rebuilt, Jump 2... 1 hanger flew into the wrong slot, Jump 3... one hanger missed the key to a stand and the belly fliers got their grips broken as a result.. we ended up with a 6 way hybrid chunk and a 3-way, Jump 4... one of the hangers went low, 2 of the belly fliers then broke off and we made a 6-way It was a different thing on every jump and except for #3, it was belly flying skills that needed a little honing. chopchop gotta go... Eeek! JP.. that is ugly too! Sebazz, don't worry about it.. It's done.. We're both safe and I gained alot of respect for my canopy and newfound skills.. I wish it was on video, though as it must have looked pretty incredible from the ground. I wonder what our combined closing speeds were... We could have saved Sangiro sooo much bandwidth... BTW.. 2 close calls:17:0 The Byron Boogie was an exceptional event in all ways.. We made 4 9-way hybrid attempts, each of which failed for a different reason.. belly skills, people, belly skills.. and one 20 way RW attempt which was Oh so close.. Other than that, tons of fun with new friends and old.. Got to spend a lot of time with the Hollister peeps..
