Were is Christmas
Were is Christmas no snow and no fun
No peace to all men as I walk these streets with my gun.
My friends are around me brothers and sons all tremble in fear
As in knowledge of terror and death is so near,
At times as we walk and we talk our minds wonder back
To family and friends we have left, we carry reminders of them in our packs.
Letters and photos, we read and admire of babes not yet to see
Lovers and mothers viewed many times tattered and worn important to me.
So were was Christmas no snow only sounds
Of bombs missiles and war all around
Christmas is here we carry it near
With knowledge of you at home you are near.
Our harts are not empty if you hold a cheer
Celebrate Christmas for us with out tears
Then for us Christmas is here
We are with you at this time of year.
