Reading his posts I believe that what he defines as "entertainment" is a miss translation on his part between languages. I believe what he is Trying to get at is that he finds these things interesting to listen and think about? Experience is a difficult teacher, she gives you the test first and the lesson afterward

Next time I'm through that part of Ak I'll buy Roxy a box of fresh donuts! and yeah he knows he's cute and uses it to his advantage. Wife was out for a walk one day in the woods and he disappeared, she thought he took off chasing something, she called and called and he didn't respond so she phoned me to help look for him. I was a little miffed and put my shoes on grabbed my jacket and headed out the door. Low and behold there he was sitting on the porch waiting for me.... probably in the form of notam's which as a pilot I know how well those work when you have other aircraft fly directly under a jump plane on jump run! general notifications only work if pilots check for them, most local pilots jump in and take off and take the relatives sight seeing or out for a joy ride without ever checking anything! I have a canopy that I load about the same and if I do an agressive toggle turn approaching 360 degrees it will twist up, the first time I did it I was test flying it then I had to do it again and watched very closely to what was happening. I didn't cut away either time. evaluate where you are, your hard deck etc. and what did your instructor say about abrupt manuevers when? I don't know how deep the sawdust was in the pit but it was more like "chips". I know that it was deep enough to take a hit at full flight on a night accuracy jump and I never hit bottom on the first landing, the second landing was somewhere out in the lawn flat on my back, glad they count your first point of contact rather then adding all subsequent landings together! care and maintenence of the sawdust pit was just me or T-Bow racking and smoothing out the divots in the pit, never seemed to rot, I think they may have been cedar chips. The chips have been replaced some years ago with pea gravel, just ain't the same as sitting around in the evening picking the sawdust out of your socks. For a more positive opening, I recommend not putting the pilot chute in the bag at all... unless you have a pull out and don't try to cock your pull out either Experience is a difficult teacher, she gives you the test first and the lesson afterward

Watched my son deploy when he was working on his "A" I was about 10 feet away when he threw the pilotchute as planned. watched the container open, the bag came off and then came the lines, the main started coming out of the bag before line stretch, when the line stretch came i watched him bounce back up and slack te lines, good thing he was in exellent shape. he wasn't injured except for some spectacular bruises that made him walk like he was saddle sore. Bacck in '95 Jan 01 I was on an IFR flight plan headed for FCA, there was a little chatter on the radio, a little something about a missing flight plan for a Canadian life flight when this really sweet female voice came on asking for the football scores, radio went to dead silence and I got this little video in my head of the ATC controlers scrambling to find out the game scores Experience is a difficult teacher, she gives you the test first and the lesson afterward

I do expect problems, it is how they treat you at customer service that sucks. Coming out of Alaska I got snowed into camp, couldn't make my flight, got my tickets rebooked, the original flight horizon canceled the flight out of Seatle because of weather and still sent me $250 voucher for the flight, told them I had rebooked for the next day and they said it was mine any way, thats customer service.
