  1. I don't think lying should remove him from consideration for president. I think he should be removed from consideration because he's crazy (IMO), and wouldn't have the first idea about how to be president. If I need brain surgery, he's be my guy. For president, not so much. BTW, I don't like Hillary either, but at least she doesn't appear to be clinically insane. - Dan G
  2. There is no way the liberal media would point out anything dishonest that Hillary ever did. We'd simply never hear about it, right? I mean, if she had lied about being a sniper target in Bosnia, it would get covered up by the limp wristed progressives in the left wing Super PAC. If she had scandals related to her e-mail, it would be swept under the rug. If she misrepresented something that happened in some far off country, like Libya maybe, the public would never know! That's how effective the liberal Super PAC is at protecting her. - Dan G
  3. How is this an example of progressives eating their own? - Dan G
  4. They have? How have they been proven false? - Dan G
  5. KHWY has an aerobatic box, but not a dropzone. The dropzone in Warrenton is at the air park, which is a different location than KHWY. - Dan G
  6. No, I suspect your news sources wouldn't deem it controvertial. I also suspect your news sources are the only ones saying that the CNBC debate was highly controvertial. So why was Marco Rubio's potential misuse of a GOP credit card for personal expenses an unfair question? Is that not part of who he is? Do you even know what questions were considered unfair? Frankly, it sounds like you are just parroting the party line. What Jake Tapper said was that he wanted to, "host a real encounter with the candidates." That statement has been spun into him wanting a fight. As far as I can tell, he never said anything of the sort. If you can show me otherwise, I'd be happy to be informed. Even Newsmax doesn't have anything beyond that quote to support the idea that CNN was trying to start a fight. - Dan G
  7. It was the first question asked in the Democratic debate by Anderson Cooper to Hillary Clinton. You haven't heard of it because it contradicts what your news sources are selling to you. CNN was just as tough on the Democratic candidates as CNBC was on the Republicans. That exact question, probably not. But if you do a little research, you find that the questions asked of the Democrats have been just as aggressive. Lincoln Chaffe is out of the race because Cooper pressed him about a vote he made as a senator, and wouldn't let him sidestep it. - Dan G
  8. So, you really think "will you say anything to get elected," is a softball question? Really? And the quote, I believe, was asking Trump if he was running a comic book version of a campaign. I don't recall anything about a clown campaign, but I might be wrong. - Dan G
  9. I think you meant extremely left. Anyway, no they aren't. Investigating candidates seeking public office is their job. You can't honestly say that CNN's first question to Clinton ("Will you say anything to get elected") wasn't worse than asking Rubio about his potentially unethical personal finances. If CNBC had asked Trump if he would say anything to get elected, you'd be howling in the streets. I'm not afraid of it. It simply isn't true. You're using the term as a pejorative to try and discredit what I'm saying. I thought you were against name calling. - Dan G
  10. When a majority of Americans agrees with a political position, that position is, by definition, at the center. There might be left or right versions, but you can't say someone is a lefty or a righty without defining where the middle is. Compared to you I'm to the left on many things, but compared to the average person, I am not. I am not a lefty, but you are most definitely a righty, since you are on the right side of the spectrum on every single issue I can think of. So, from your perspective, of course the media will appear to be leftist. From a center position, there are media outlets on the left and right. - Dan G
  11. So when you said I was just another lefty, you meant that I'm just another person who has some slightly left of center views on social issues? BTW, my positions are not out of line with the average American. If you think they are, you need to look a little closer at current opinion polls. Most people are pro-choice and pro-same sex marriage these days. Agreeing with most people doesn't make me a lefty. - Dan G
  12. Believe me, your perception of the world and the real world are not congruous. Please, what positions of mine do you find terribly left of center? - Dan G
  13. If you really don't remember all of the scrutiny Obama got, then your memory is very selective, indeed. - Dan G
  14. When the discussion is about media sources, the source is the content. I'm not a lefty, BTW. Compared to you, everyone is a lefty, but compared to the average Americam I'm pretty darn close to the center. - Dan G
  15. Voting for Jim Webb at this point is kinda wasting your time, since he's withdrawn. - Dan G
  16. Again, you are using media reports on falsehoods in Obama's book to prove that the media never reported on falsehoods in Obama's book. Your worldview is so ingrained that you can't even see the contradiction. Amazing. - Dan G
  17. Uses an opinion piece from Breitbart to prove his point. QED - Dan G
  18. What's the assurtion (sic)? That the media is a giant left-wing SuperPAC? Absolutely I dispute that. It is ridiculous on its face. However, the assertion that some media outlets lean left, while some lean right is obviously true. You only believe news you read on the right leaning sites. What's more, you seem to believe everything you read from a right leaning site, regardless of how crazy it seems. Most other people try to look at the news and the source, and make their best judgement as to the validity. Either way, this whole thing started when Rubio and Carson didn't want to answer legitimate questions about their past. Now they try to frame all tough questions are leftie witch hunts. It's great political strategy because it fits their base's worldview. It also keeps then from having to deal with all the skeletons they have hidden away. Genius. Shitty and dishonest, but genius. - Dan G
  19. Clearly and excellent example of the unbiased reporting you're looking for: Don't you find it ironic that you're using articles from a right leaning news source to prove that all news sources are left leaning? - Dan G
  20. Yeah, good point. Except, none of your points are valid, or actually relate to the studies you pretend to reference. So yeah, um, whatever? - Dan G
  21. I'm not party affiliated, but I'd probably go with Christie and Sanders. - Dan G
  22. People, try to pay attention. Cops, firefighters, soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines are upstanding, selfless, CONSERVATIVE heroes. Every other government employee is a lazy taker. Don't even get me started on teachers! They are lazy LIBERAL takers. Every damn one. - Dan G
  23. It doesn't matter how many times you explain it to him. He will always believe that Trump is a brilliant business man because he has a lot of money. Some people simply can't understand the concept of compounding interest. The same people are liklely not saving or investing, and will rely on the social welfare system they so love to hate. - Dan G
  24. If the studies are so easy to find, which don't you link a couple? If you're the one making the claim, it is on you to provide evidence. Unless you're too lazy, that is. - Dan G
  25. Your logic is truly dizzying. I mean truly - Dan G
