Brent Finely. You can see some of his work here in the featured photographer section. It took two years of phone calls, email and threat of litigation. It hasnt stopped them though, they've just traded out some of his photos the old for new ones. They have used photos of a lot of drop zones aircraft, sponsored athletes and special events without permission. Skyride has stated that they purchased the photos from a graphics source (no longer in business). Well my thought on that then if it is indeed true, is that they have recieved stolen goods. -

Basically it states what most have been saying for a few years. Unethical with prhaps some illegal activities. Investigations are underway in several states by the States Attny generals.. Skyride has said they aren't doing anything wrong, just aggressive marketing. Umm (explain a virtual dz to me then!) Some folks have paid near $500 for a tandem...Finley's continues battle. Skyride finally has agreed to take down his photos..only to replace them with other photos of his. It ends by saying that thousands of people would never have skydived had it not been for Skyride. (Um I disagree. If they really wanted to skydive they would have found a place anyway) Its just more of the same. -

I ever tell you the story about walking into the women's bathroom one evening ? It was during the Holiday Boogie a few years back..Sky comes walking out of the shower room in all his glory. My word! He sees me and asks if I want to join him (and a friend who shall remain nameless). I was just so NOT prepared for that and tried really hard to keep my eyes on his face. Good Lord! I am still laughing to this day. Sorry...now back to the cute lil puppy.

Jump numbers are correct but I can tell you I have more than 1 year in the sport. As to AFF I completed mine in 2 weeks. Some go faster, some slower. It all depends on time, money, repeats if necessary and instructor availability. -

Boy I sure do not recommend that, especially if the airport has federal grants. It could very well compromise the operation as well as the airport even if you were to get permission. Welcome to skydiving! Gotta tell ya after my first tandem I went back up on the next load for my second one. It only gets better from there! Stay safe, have fun and plan on equating everything to jumps when it comes to expenditures -
I you plan on doing any freeflying where points or grips need to be seen get the grippers.

Pretty Woman, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,The Happy Hooker, Hiedi Fleiss Hollywood Madam, Memoirs of a Geisha. all depict various aspects of the oldest profession. Sheesh and I actually either read the books or saw the movies. YIKES

If the airport has accepted ANY monies from the Federal Government they must adhere to the sponsorship assurances that they agreed to. Additionally if the airport has an AIP grant they aren't just a "little pregnant" they actually have to follow the guidlines for 20 years There are 32 points that the airport has to adhere to if they did indeed accept federal money for improvements. Oh I got loads of info

The dude still jumps. 20+ years in the sport and not even over the hill yet. Guess he must be doing something right
