At one point in time when skydiving was new that is exactly what skydivers were called. LOL My how things have changed. Actually you aren't a passenger. As a passanger you would have to land somewhere with the aircraft. At that point the aircraft would be carrying passengers for hire and would no longer fall under part 91. Yup you is "jettisonable cargo" Bwahhhhhhhh edit to say...jumper...you jump from an aircraft. We certainly dont "leap" although we have been known to "fall off" LOL

Bill~ So glad that you are ok!!! There are a couple of sayings out here that you know well... 1. If you're thirsty you're already on the verge of dehydration. 2. HYDRATE or DIE! This should serve as a lesson to all. If it can happen to someone like Bill who is highly experienced and knowledgeable...it can happen to anyone. Just because one is not perspiring, does not mean they aren't losing water. Remember that too much water can cause problems as well. It is always a good idea to replace electrolytes in addition to water. A mixute of 1/2 water and 1/2 gatorade seems to work well in these parts, and I dare say...it gets mighty hot. If you are talking about Coolidge Arizona the drop zone, it is not open to fun jumpers. The folks that used to make Coolidge their home are now jumping at Desert Skydiving, Marana or Skydive Arizona™

AE events are not part of POPS yet! It would have been nice for folks to enter for exhibition purposes, and I did ask!! Twice! There are several very talented AE people who have just turned 40 or are about to turn 40 and would have entered, and will enter in the future if AE is added. In truth AE is going to have to start at home being included in POPS meets before it will be accepted on a larger scale. So..for now its FS, CRW, Accuracy and hit and rock!

I love coffee...good coffee. Lou brought me Columbian, I have a nice Kona from a friend whose parents own a plantation and another friened just brought me some beans from Costa Rica. Life is good.
