Thanks for the photos! The "orange guy" is owr very own "brycewitcher" He has yet to reach his 1st skydiving birthday and already has pounded out 500+ jumps! Looking to work on mens freestyle...yeah protege The canopy is a "pilot" and Bryce is bar far the most visible under canopy, which was his intention! Look out...here I come

Glad that you made it home safe and sound. I have to tell you....since ummm you kinda flailed on this one... the gal behind the bar to whom you said: "What do you know...you don't even skydive!" has 4,000+ jumps, is a World Record holder and ....goes by the name of Amy? Never judge a book by its cover ....bwahhhhhhh we are still chuckling over that one!

After the bitter cold of December which was quite unusual here, I am happy to report that yesterday found us in the upper 70's. Still cold by Arizonian standards but at least I am down to 2 layers Come to the sun Clay...there is always room for one more

Yes, I must say that the comment from both was that the DZ dots seemed intimitated at asking them to jump. My madame skills gone to the boonies on that one. Next year maybe I'll just have to make them wear signs that say: "yeah ask me to jump or the Pixie will not feed us!" LOL

You weren't at manifest the entire day, so I would certainly have to say that that isn't a true statement, although you are certainly entitled to your own opinion. Nor were you here but for a few days during the 12 day long boogie. I am not saying that perhaps as a group we couldn't do better, there is always room for improvement. What needs to be realized is that this was NOT WFFC, and indeed was one of the largest boogies. We have had several discussions here at SDA as how to improve wingsuit flying here. Primarily by treating wingsuits as we do CRW. As wingsuit flying is still in its infancy as discipline, it is clear that we all need to work together in order to provide a safer environment for everyone.

There was also a post outside of manifest stating that all wingsuit flyers MUST check into the Birdman tent daily for a briefing. BB

The other piece is that even if you don't frequent the bar, and you hang out by the fire barrels or pit the results are similar.....smelly.

There has been discussion on the smoke issue here in Eloy. Until Arizona has a no smoking law in public places, not a lot to be done. I will however advocate for a smoke free environment.

Someone pilfered the tarps I had out for DZ dots. I'll make sure to have a supply next year as well as a place to hang rigs. As to the weights, there are several in the main hangar. We can always go on a "mission"...LOL
