1. He has to be intelligent as to be thought provoking. 2. He has to have a strong personality. No doormats or rugs allowed here. 3. He has to skydive. Won't deal with someone that doesn't understand why I do what I do. 4. He has to take pride in himself. 5.He has to be soulful. Well heck...no wonder I'm still single

I can't speak for Rosa...but as for me...there is something about a man in uniform. Especially one that serves his country. Just cuz we may look, does not mean we will touch

When did you first try out an elliptical canopy?
bbarnhouse replied to jkwon's topic in Safety and Training
I'm a wuss! Not really just conservative I put 200 jumps on a Triathalon, then went to a semi-elliptical for another 300 jumps. I then tried an elliptical one size larger than my semi for 30 jumps before moving to an elliptical the same size of my semi. I put 1,000+ jumps on that elliptical before downsizing. -
LOL well it hasn't been necessary for a bit, but this next week we ghave 70+ fellas from The Netherlands coming for a few weeks. I am sure that it will be put to good use while they are here

Guess what DiverDriver is making for dinner?
bbarnhouse replied to chaoskitty's topic in The Bonfire
My vote is shrimp, pasta salad with black olives, feta, sundried tomato and Italian dressing. A few lobster cakes in for good measure and fresh Ahi. -

Update from the hospital...seems our girl fractured her fibula
-
Will do...and Elf is a regular jumper in Coolidge, so she is accustomed to Arizona jumping conditions. Safety Day...everyone in the sport should attend.

Elfanie came out today to make a skydive..her first here at Skydive Arizona. I introduced her to a packer, walked her through the release process all the while enjoying our easy comraderie. She is a doll plain and simple. Elf was looking for someone to skydive with, so I had made arrangements for her to fly with one of our locals all day. When the load was ready to drop I walked over to the south landing area to watch her land and congratulate her on her first jump here. The winds were light and variable with Elf set up to land directly into the wind. She did so but then....on final she flared too late and injured her right ankle..which appeared to be broken Please send out warm healing vibes to this wonderful little lady....and all the encouragement that you can muster. I must say that although she was in pain...she still managed to smile....and said "Bets...ya broke me!" Bwahhhhhhhhhhh bless her.
