Wendy, you are such a sh*t disturber. Unfortunately the school system for which I teach is dealing with a Federal segregation issue that started over 20 years ago. Because students have been ability groups up until recently the govt has come down and waved their magic wand over us saying their way is the only "right" way to organize the system. The schools are now 78% black, 20% white, and 2% other. We are not allowed to group students for ANY reason except in my classroom and one other classroom because they are remedial classes. If you child just so happens to be in a classroom with no other peers then that is not a system problem, but yours as a parent. (Know that both my daughters have been lucky because they take Honors classes, but my oldest was the only female in a sex ed class with 25 black males, no I was NOT happy.) We have ACLU and NAACP in and out of the school on a regular basis. Whatever....I go to work and do my job to the best of my ability. Thankfully I'm good at it and can post whore some too. I guess my point is it seems the whites are being punished rather than being treated equal. It is not my daughters faults that this happened over 20 years ago. It seems if you are white around here then you have to be that much better to get the same treatment as the blacks around here. I love my crockpot with my busy mom schedule and have lots of recipes that I'll send you. I have several chicken ones, a really good pork chop one, some roast ones, cubed steak to die for, and a BBQ one. One thing I invested in a few years back was a crockpot that has a removable insert so I can prepare everything the night before in the insert and put it in the fridge then just take it out the next morning, place the insert in the unit and turn it on.
