    Nope, it's the attempt to take away those rights, and the fools who are willing to accommodate the government in doing so, that will take us down. I have to agree with Rehm because people in this country abuse these "rights" and don't so much as look as them as rights but as entitlements. Common courtesy has gone out the door in this country.     I thought the the guy had a problem with those "others" putting a cross out for his son at their protest that HE does not support. I would be pissed off too if some people who don't know me, or my family decided to USE me or them for THEIR causes and beliefs.     In your years as a skydiver, how many DZ's have you visited and/or worked at? Okay, since you don't want to reply to Marks, then reply to me. We had 2 tandems jump a couple weeks ago, but they had originally scheduled for, what they thought was Tullahoma, now, ASC/SKYRIDE (not chutingstar) charged these 2 when they showed up at Tullahoma and NOT ASC/SKYRIDE. What part of this is okay business practices? Surely they would have canceled at ASC had they KNOWN and been TOLD by the scum that answer the phone that they were scheduling for ASC. Are you telling my these 2 tandems are liers? These are not the only 2 that have scheduled for Tullahoma and charged through ASC.     I think its funny how he claims to "run the skydiving school" yet the front page of his website says: Chuting Star Rigging Loft provides a full line of rigging services to skydivers and pilots throughout the United States. Chuting Star's full-time staff of FAA parachute riggers is based out of Atlanta Skydiving Center in Cedartown, Georgia. Chuting Star also operates satellite locations in Pell City, Alabama, and Perkasie, Pennsylvania. He claims to run the skydiving school yet no where on his website does he even MENTION teaching skydiving. If, by some chance, he gets a Group membership, Ben and Cary cannot jump with ANY of the students otherwise he would be breaking some very serious BSR's about using non-rated instructors.     that's funny because I used to get made fun of for the same thing. They really made fun of me when I would set up on final 1/2 mile out at 1000 ft but I've ALWAYS been able to walk back when some have needed assitance, plus this was back when alot of trial and error was happening with the HP canopies, so I could avoid them when they would hook it in front of me.     ACMEskydiver - its okay that you don't want to jump at the WFFC but be advised they have a bigger landing area than most other boogies. I've been to Quincy twice and this will be my second Rantoul and granted I'm not there for the whole time, but I have never encountered a problem with traffic under canopy. I guess because I choose a spot away from everyone and I'm not so lazy I can't walk. I'm not saying there isn't traffic issues, I've just never encountered them.     funny thing about all this is they think going to other boogies, traffic will be better. More people, more problems. I leave tomorrow for the convention and am really looking forward to it.     well, our main aircraft only takes 7 minutes to altitude so I usually do nothing but guess who is going to fart and at what altitude. In the C195, I usually sleep. the engine puts me right down. j Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

    I'm glad you learned that small things (like half-collapsed slider) may cause "NO BIG DEAL". Chop, pull, land, pay, repeat. How would you miss (and I suck at packing, even after 9 years), a 1/2 collapsed slider when you are quartering it? Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
