    I have this problem alot in the winter- even here in humid Tennessee. But it only seems to be me. At work I hate even getting close to a filing cabinet because of the shock. The people I work with get upset cause I prefer to discharge on them instead of something metal (it seems to be less painful). I'm just warn smooth out at the end of the day because of the all static shocks. I kissed my husband good bye last winter and knocked us both down. Hurt like hell. Now in the winter we just wave.

    I dated my first JM. I ended up way behind the curve, simply because I didn't know better. Thank god I moved 2000 miles to get away from him so I could still jump. I learned alot when I moved away. Like how to pack, the good the bad and the ugly on RSL's, AAD, other gadgets and so many more things.     IF there was a USPA CC THEN we would have them available at our dz, but I thought we were addressing the CURRENT people that are self-proclaimed canopy coaches.     Why the USPA? IMO, if the manufacturers are going to continue to make these obnoxiously small and wickedly fast canopies they should be responsible for the training.     Well, If I call a fictional dz, which I wouldn't know was fictional, I would assume it really exists. These scum bags, lead you to believe you are going to jump at Skydive Utah because that's the website they found and that Skydive Utah really doesn't exist. I do now since Skyride came along and ripped so many people off and gave the sport I love a black-eye with so many people. I met one last weekend. You obviously don't get to see the disappointment on these peoples faces when the show up with a skyride certificate and we have to say not us. Then we have to explain to them the type of organization they are dealing with and wish them the best of luck getting their money back. I researched every dz in my area before I started jumping. but back then we only had phone books to find them. j Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

    I have purchased many many items on line, both as certificates and actual products. I have never bot a gift certificate that did not state where I can use that certificate. ( Even those that sell gift cards for mulitple different stores will give you a list of the stores they are offered to. Skyride does no such thing.     If they are not willing to try - they don't need to skydive at all. NEVER GIVE UP. They should have their rating pulled. If its an ability issue, I would have to give them a second chance. Everyone has a bad day skydiving eventually. The problem is it could be a year before they have another out of control student. Now, if there are a bunch of out of control students, then whoever is teaching the first jump course needs a talking too if the AFFI and FJC instructor are not the same.
