That goes with what I was saying. I know plenty of Navy guys and gals that jump. BUT the whuffos are constantly saying "You know you cant do that. Thats a high risk activity. Blah blah blah" But when I say "WHERE IS THAT WRITTEN" they say oh I dont know but I know you cant. I SAY BULLSHIT!!!! "I love 'lamp'." -SKYMAMA

OH TRUST ME it has been a major pain. I have looked in all kinds of pubs and manual and instructions. The only thing I have found is about parachute operations in the service. Not for fun on liberty. But thanks. Hope you have better luck than I did. "I love 'lamp'." -SKYMAMA

I agree however those establishments for example are in writing where you can and cant go. Not just word of mouth. I want to know if it is in writing that I can or cant jump while in the navy. "I love 'lamp'." -SKYMAMA

I appreciate the replies, but we all know that the services differ greatly in MANY aspects and I am hoping that this is not one of them based on what you are saying. And the other thing is, I know a bunch of people in the Navy that skydive on their own and they all say the same thing I do, which is that the whuffos that say this are full of shit. BUT, I keep hearing this crap ALL THE TIME!! Heard it again today. This guy said he broke his legs on his AFF Level 3 and was told if he ever jumped again he would see the C.O. because it was not allowed in the Navy. WHERE IS IT WRITTEN? IFits written anywhere. (and this is for skydivers in the navy or anyone who may know) IF and where there is such an instruction or regulation saying that you cant skydive (for fun) in the navy? I keep hearing people say at work "Oh thats considered a high risk activity and you are not allowed to jump "....blah blah blah but none of these people have EVER been able to show me in writing where it says this or even have any idea of where it may be. I'll bring some miller light for most, corona for the DZO and DZOG and Michelob light for the manife-stress (cause poor thing always seems to be stressed) but she is great so I will take care of her too.
