if you werent nervous there is something wrong. i've been struggling for the past year to finish AFF because of fear. The only thing i can say is don't let the fear take over soo bad that you don't get out. Riding the plane down makes it harder to get back in it and the fear just gets bigger from there. Be scared, be nervous, and when its time to get out think, breath, and go. If at all possible Do not ride it down. my aunt and uncle used to have an outgoing message that went something like this. if your trying to reach sandi she's busy in the bathroom right now. she likes going up adn down and up and down, and if your trying to reach larry he's busy too. he likes going from side to side. up and down side to side. i agree with this as well. I'm single, have been for a long time and i like it. If i find someone then great, but i'm not going to search and search and seach for "Mr. Right" i guess if i had to give a reason to why i am single its because i spend my time doing what i want, which is at the dropzone after work and on weekends, working and doing riggers training at the moment etc. and non skydivers don't want to spend all their time here. And all the skydivers who are here when i am are either married or have girlfriends. -------------------------------------------------- Do you have a steak? i'll take it!

i would go into this farm field that was around the corner from my house when i lived in twin falls and catch grass hoppers. I would put about 20 grass hoppers in one little jelly jar and put it on the kitchen counter for my mom to find. She never did like that, so i kept doing it. i would also hit golf balls at the neighbors house...not those flimsy little whiffle balls, real damn golf balls. He always got mad and wouldnt give the golf balls back, then my dad got mad because they were his golf balls. i was a brat, one of those "throw fits in grocery stores" kind of kids when i was little. woops! -------------------------------------------------- Do you have a steak? i'll take it!

that's only up north, stay in the southern area and you'll be just fine! utah sucks. i've only been to a handful of states so the ones i've been to i can say that its my least favorite -------------------------------------------------- Do you have a steak? i'll take it!

yeah, there's a cutaway system. theres one skysurfer here in idaho, about 10-15 ft before he lands he cuts his board away to make his landing easier, so if you get in a spin you can cut it away too. i'd imagine that it would be difficult though, but i wouldnt know. -------------------------------------------------- Do you have a steak? i'll take it!

mine hurt too on the student gear here. what i did was when i was under canopy adn everything was going great. I'd pull my knees up into a sitting position and cross my feet. it takes some fo the pressure off. i noticed the pain more when you'd let up on a turn. and this reduces it. it doesnt get rid of it, but it helps. then when you get to 100 ft. go into your normal 'legs together straight out in front of you" form. -------------------------------------------------- Do you have a steak? i'll take it!
