This was my first jump as a Tandem student. A group of five of us jumped Sunday (7/31/05). The staff did very well in calming us down, it was a very friendly and laid-back atmosphere which really made you feel comfortable. Being a heavier guy at 275 lbs... I know I was a little more nervous than the rest of my group but my instructor had no fear. It was the greatest thrill ever and I can't thank Mike S. enough for jumping with me, I think he enjoyed the challenge, haha. The only cons with this place is that we had to wait around so long for the weather to clear up. That's not their fault, but it made the rest of the day a "rush" to get everyone out, which took away from the quality. But who cares, I jumped out of a F'n airplane and lived. WOOOHOOO!! By the way, the food is great. I forget the name of the cook, but he is a great guy. I would recommend ASC to everyone, but try to find a nice clear day and reserve EARLY in the morning.
