    on my 2nd jump..i failed (tandem) because i didnt pull..3rd tandem, i found the ripcord..then my 1st solo..i did 3 practice touches, pulled no problem, 2nd solo, only 2 practice touches, and now im alll alone everytime i jump..i dont need any practice touches because your hand remembers where to go..its like going for your cell phone..you almost always know which pocket its in without even looking...same with your pilot chute..you will know evetually excatly where it is w/o even thinking about it..have fun and be safe!     I did jumps 17 and 18 earlier today...hadnt jumped in over 2 weeks do to wind conditions from hurricane Rita...shes screwed me up...i did 17...just a relaxed jump...to get back into the mojo of things..# 18...wow...did my 1st floating exit...one of the instructors just told me...keep looking at me till your body turns on its own...and sure enough did what he told me..and watched the plane leave behind me with a thumbs up from him..wow wow wow..lol well thats this weeks story...3 coach jumps to go, and the hop and pop..then ill have the A licence!!     hell yea we are gona get that A licence..and do some 2 ways..i only got 9 more jumps to go if i do the jumps in excatly 25..lol thats not going to happen!! lol well hey it mite..once you get your arch down, its all downhill from there..and keep working with greg..hes AWSOME..he will smile and smile while your in freefall...lol he even hit me on the side of my helmet during my graduation jump lol..well see you at the DZ in the next few days..ttyl Danny The Sky Divin Coastie

    LoL i read everyones comments and we all started different ways..me..I just woke up one thursday morning..a beatufiul day in July in S. Florida..and said..today, i want to skydive...and there it was...3 hours later i was at my local dropzone, strapped in a tandem harness, scared out of my mind...lol now i cant stop doing it! only have 16 jumps, but its somthing!     I finally did it! Did my last 2 jumps succesfully, My last jump of the course i had line twist..so that made it that much more interesting! I Did my 1st "fun Jump" alone just for the hell of it..did some front loops, and some turns and pretty much just tried to stay stable from 7000-4500 ft...overall a great expierence!     ive failed it 3 times...the manager is giving a break when i jump so i can pass the level..my only problem now--my legs wont extend..thats what every log entry sais...extend legs..so im gona jump again on friday morning..hopefully ill get it right... Danny The Sky Divin Coastie

    I love jumping with Fred..hes so relaxed in the plane, and greg is another...always smiling..Randy is cool as hell to. All the guys at the dropzone are cool instructors...Have a prefrence of who i like jumping with of course. Im going again..i cant take a break..its like not taking somones medicine.     I dont know..i can never figure out whats going on..i finally passed 4 after 3 times...then took 5, passed it in one shot..said my release was great, did fwd motion on my own with no problems, and then we decided to try level 6 same day...i failed because of body position..any help on y my body does what it does? legs come down to much and i lose my arch? i just wanna finish these training jumps..its becoming way to expensive and turning me away a little...im on 9 jumps and only up to level 6! help!     im now up to level 5...level 4 was as hard as i thought it would be..took me 3 times..didnt want to give up...kept tumbling in freefall, but was told canopy control was very good considering its supposed to be the hardest thing, i did well! so on to level 5! wish me luck Danny The Sky Divin Coastie

    i failed it 2 times..3rd time the manager from skydive miami made me a deal, he would take me up for a fun jump for rental fee only..50 bucks...i agreed..and passed the 3rd time..he said it was an excellent jump..i had a little hard landing....Wind screwed me up a little but other then that its all good...Im cleared for Level 5 so i will see how that goes :-D Danny The Sky Divin Coastie

    failed the jump---as usual, my arching...and i couldn 't arch properly which meant i couldnt find my ripcord....canopy control was good he said, landed fine...just the freefall dive flow ---scary for my 1st solo, but i dont mind its ok..as long as i landed safley on my own, then in my mind, it was an ok jump...     my instructor said i did very well..excellent landing.only thing i noticed on myself was my 360 turn, i did 2 1/2 turns instead of just 1..lol o well, he said i recovered fine! Excellent jump, friday morning is the day, that i do my level IV--already started my ground school this morning as well! im so excited, yet nervous...wellwish me luck! Danny The Sky Divin Coastie

    you know..i hate when your driving down a road (mainly in florida) and its soo nice out...like your sayin..nothing can ruin the day! I get suited up, ready for my level III and we are up at peak alt...13,500 Look out the door, an its a no go...dARK Stormy clouds ruin the day..lol..o well...so thats my story...sad thing is its 2 times already this week trying to get my level II and now its happening at Level III...well maybe monday it will be more in my favor..any hints for level III..im feening to go by myself for level IV..i dont wanna do tandem anymore..ive done 3 tandems already Dan Aka Burt The Sky Diving Coastie Danny The Sky Divin Coastie
