    I tried to practice my Hog Flop this past weekend with people who did not know what a Hog Flop is. But I made the mistake of trying to throw in 2 donuts before the flop. BIG mistake! Next time we're going straight for the flop, then donuts after! I still did a backflip at 5K for good measure.     :10:0 9 great jumps at the Farm, lots of 4 way and had a blast on Popsjumper's "mystery dive". That was the most successful/fun jump of the entire weekend! 1 awesome jump at Skydive Smoky Mountains on Sunday with my BF - we tried a rodeo out of the C-182. It was....interesting. It was a milestone weekend too, hit my 400th and our 6 month anniversary.

    I have jumped with webbed gloves and didn't have any trouble with them (and I was worried about grasping my hackey and my toggles and everything). I had a problem with going low on bigger ways and borrowed some webbed gloves. They do help tremendously with fall rate adjustment, and allow you to slow down when coming in to dock. That being said, I decided to buy some "gaters" or sleeves that would add some extra drag on my arms instead of the gloves to help me slow down. But by the time the sleeves were delivered I had spent some time in the tunnel and lots of jumps working on my fall rate. I've never worn the sleeves or webbed gloves since, and haven't needed to. I'm sorry to hear you got hurt while on the ground and totally sober! I've stepped in that mud puddle before, but just got my feet wet. Hope you heal up quick!!     OMG Brie, you sound like a wonderful fish mother!!! My betta that my boyfriend gave me committed suicide, I was such a bad mother. He jumped out of the tank. I still have the tank, b/c it has plants in it, but I have yet to get another fish. My very 1st pet of my own killed itself. How depressing. Just goes to show that getting out of an unstable aircraft is NOT impossible. I agree with paulcrw, never say die! What an inspiration.     I thought you said you had NO interest in packing my canopy seeing as it is so nice and crispy with only about 10 jumps on it.     You never know, and we can still hope. Even though they haven't found the tail section yet. Maybe 3 people made it out. I rode a Caravan between 2 DZ's for a boogie once and all 5 of us on the plane wore our rigs the whole time. Just in case. It's weird & uncomfortable to be on a jump plane with no rig on. This is just speculation, of course. But if it was me, I'd have been wearing my rig, especially if the weather was questionable.
