Nice. Training for the Nautica NYC, then of course, the NYC Marathon in Nov. My training starts March 1. Ugh. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

I love getting screwed over by insurance coverage
ntrprnr replied to gontleman's topic in The Bonfire
Try running your own company/being an entrepreneur... $633.52 a month for insurance. Covers the basics plus the typical "if I get hit by a bus" scenarios. It's more painful than actually getting sick. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues." -
I think this is only the beginning. I think we'll wind up seeing this consolidation move to other things - i.e., got XMS (which would be a cool name for the two) Well then, you also qualify for Verizon phone service and Time Warner Cable... Not saying it's good or bad - just thinking what it'll be. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

Different kettle of fish. Consumer never had any options at all in satellite radio - option was $14.95 or $14.95, or regular radio. Consumer isn't gonna get hurt here. The majority of the money XM/Sirius spent they did for advertising/beating back the other player/hiring howard stern. They won't have to do that as much this time. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

Yeah, my dad's all pissed, he's in San Antonio on biz, and called me this morning was all like, "It's 30 degrees here! What the hell?" _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

Sitting in a Starbucks waiting to go to a meeting near Wall Street. It's 19 degrees here, and there's VERY little heat in the store. I'm debating jumping behind the counter and putting my hand in the latte. I'm cold and WHINY. Wah. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

This. Of course, I've got about another 100 jumps or so before I'll be ready to wear it, but hey, it was 15% off at PIA. I'm psyched. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

Gave out soup, bread, apples, oranges, bananas, and 1% milk to over 400 homeless men and women. It was the best Valentine's day I've ever spent. It totally, totally, totally makes you realize how trivial our bullshit little problems are. It was 18 degrees last night in NYC (-7c) and with the wind chill, it was -10 (-23c). We were in the mobile food fan, so we drove around the city, stopping at specific points, including outside churches, in Central Park, under overpasses, etc. And the people were so grateful. Makes you think. I felt really, really good about it. Some other guys and women were also volunteering, including a guy from Morgan Stanley, one from Lehman Bros, some musician from Ireland... It was the best way to spend the evening, in my opinion. :) _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

as long as its just the hershey chocolate kind... and I think volunteering at a soup kitchen is a great idea... I'd do something like that but I'm not sure I want to leave the house again... cause the roads were kind of precarious and its supposed to get cold later. Welcome to NYC, baby. Land of the walkers. :) _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

That kiss is for anyone who doesn't have a Valentine today.

Run the shower on hot for about 20 minutes with the bathroom door open before you go to bed. Brings moisture into the room. Body does best though, when sleeping in a colder room. So I usually keep the AC cranked in a hotel room. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

I have. It's not ready for skydiving yet. He's sending me a helmet mount. Will report back. Problem with it on the wrist is that wrists aren't as stable as heads. Also sending me one with a wide angle lens. Will let you know. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

Totally not looking to start a fight, but the cat is obviously beyond scared. That's not funny - that's sad to put an animal who's obviously terrified through it. That's just mean, in my opinion. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."
