candied sweet potatoes really the whole recipe is by site but heres is the basic idea cook 3 lbs of sweet potatoes till tender (do not overcook or they will be mushy and fall apart) strain and peel... cut into halves lengthwise in a pan melt two sticks of butter and stir in about 3/4 small box of dark brown sugar until it becomes a gravy like texture... if its too thin add more sugar... if its too thick add a little water line a baking pan with foil... lay out the potatoes and pour butter/sugar mixture on top... bake at 350 for about 20 minutes or until potatoes become a little softer... i know this is the most vague recipe but its always been verbally and visually passed down, we've never needed to write it down because really its super easy they are yummy...and crazy fattening :) anyway HAPPY THANKSGIVING and enjoy your food "life does throw curveballs sometimes but it doesn't mean we shouldn't still swing for the homerun" ~ me

i caught the tail end of the episode on friday, never saw it before then and i was crying... i don't even know what was wrong with them... but my biggest weakness is watching men cry and this kid's dad got on stage and was getting all choked up talking about his son and literally the ENTIRE town was there supporting him... ridiculous... i can't handle it.. but yes it is a great concept... extreme makeover home edition is great but i think sometimes its a little excessive.. but still good intentions "life does throw curveballs sometimes but it doesn't mean we shouldn't still swing for the homerun" ~ me

i really know nothing about BASE jumping but i saw the picture and pulled it out of the magazine... i don't have a scanner but i can try and describe it to you as best as i can... its some guy in the middle of a forward flip.. they caught him right as he's facing the camera... gray suit red rig... and then behind him and below him there are a bunch of trees and the river flowing between them... it's definitely a money shot... if i can find a scanner i'll put it up for you guys but anyway whoever it is jumping congrats :) "life does throw curveballs sometimes but it doesn't mean we shouldn't still swing for the homerun" ~ me

i've had my pair of born's for almost 2 years now and i haven't had any problems with mine and i wear them everyday and i chase after 80 kids m-f i think theyre great... just time to move on and buy a new pair of shoes... i mean if you can weasle something out of them i guess go ahead but you've had them for a while you got your $ worth... think about it this way.. you only spent a few cents a day to wear them for a year :) "life does throw curveballs sometimes but it doesn't mean we shouldn't still swing for the homerun" ~ me

a little birdy told me that a few weeks ago he got some news that after a match with sean michaels the hulk went back into the locker room and had a massive heartattack and died... i would like to think that i'm fairly up to date with the news and everything and i havent been able to find ANYthing proving this to be true... has anyone else heard this as well?? if it is true that totally sucks ass... but there are no signs pointing to yes on this... are there? i have an annoying co-worker that JUST started working a couple of months ago and drives me bananas... she yells at my boss when my boss has to leave early to get her kids... she sits on her phone the whole time and then complains when she has to do anything... we work with children and she comes in dressed in shorts with her ass hanging out and her boobs hanging out and she is not what you would call a tiny girl... my boss is no better for not saying anything... AND this 24 yr old girl has come in bawling thinking she was pregnant..
