  1. How do you know Chris had a operational weapon at the ready? The guy could have waited till he was marking targets down range, loading, or placing his weapon in a case at the end of the range session? I'm done with this. Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. 2. It's low for anyone to bring this up right now. Chris was a true fucking warrior, better person than anyone here, and should not be used in anyone's pissy political argument. I say we move on from this and find other examples to argue about. Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Spelling and gramhair mistakes guaranteed move along,
  3. If their goal is to prevent ANY research then I'm with you and kallend....shocker, but after that 1994 CDC scandal I bet they are really gun shy(yep) of who will ever get to do a neutral fact based study. Think of it this way, wouldn't the uspa want to guard themselves from a group that from the onset says their goal is to stop skydiving by showing the sport in the worst light even if they have to be dishonest. 4. Wouldn't it be like a airport that receives federal funding? I cant find that article again, the computer at work does not save history, and never gives similar search results. I searched for Cornell university gun program/club public funding, and found a few PDF's where they were using those funds to improve their shooting range. I dont really care either way what they did with their gun range. Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Spelling and gramhair mistakes guaranteed move along,
  5. Is it really "Republican opposition" or the fact that they started realizing they were over reaching their boundaries fiscally and constitutionally? Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Spelling and gramhair mistakes guaranteed move along,
  6. It may be a private university, but that gun club used federal Pittman-Robertson funds. Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Spelling and gramhair mistakes guaranteed move along,
  7. Let me show you then since you are trying to further side step the question. YES the man did say that. So why would you have the CDC do any "research" if BEFORE a study started they already proved they were biased, and planned on steering the results? You can have theories about what might happen ahead of the research, but not outright say you are going to bend the public's views ahead of time. I say good on them for stopping that research, its about like global warming. How much money was pumped into "research" where the organizations clearly were biased, and would give you whatever result you were paying for. I would love to see a neutral fact only based research. Simply find out the facts, and state them, don't handpick cases to make one side better than the other that's wrong. Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. 8. Could you just address the subject correctly instead of trying to sidestep? Yes or No Did Dr. Mark Rosenberg the person who used to oversee research into gun violence and prevention at the Centers for Disease Contro say his aim was to make the public see firearms as “dirty, deadly—and banned.” Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. 9. I will say it again here is proof you are spreading half the story and twisting facts, what do you have to say? Funny you keep bringing up half of that story Quote Dr. Mark Rosenberg, who was then director of the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control at the CDC, explained his aim was to make the public see firearms as “dirty, deadly—and banned.” (Quoted in William Raspberry, “Sick People With Guns,” The Washington Post, Oct. 19, 1994.) A newspaper article on two other leading anti-gun propagandists, Dr. Katherine Christoffel and Dr. Robert Tanz of the Children’s Hospital in Chicago, explained their “plan to do to handguns what their profession has done to cigarettes … turn gun ownership from a personal-choice issue to a repulsive, anti-social health hazard.” (Harold Henderson, “Policy: Guns ‘n Poses,” Chicago Reader, Dec. 16, 1994.) Many of the propaganda articles were widely disseminated by a credulous media eager to tout supposedly scientific proof that guns were bad. The most popular of these articles was built around a one-sentence factoid that asserted the dangers of guns far outweighed the protective benefits. Finally, in 1996, Congress cut off gun control funding for the CDC—mainly because the NRA demonstrated to legislators the CDC was buying political misinformation rather than science. They gagged that son of a bitch that was purposly trying to skew the numbers. Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Spelling and gramhair mistakes guaranteed move along,
  10. Funny you keep bringing up half of that story They gagged that son of a bitch that was purposly trying to skew the numbers. Also it barred RESEARCH, not REPORTED ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS. Those listed on the CDC website are accurate. Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Spelling and gramhair mistakes guaranteed move along,
  11. No no this list is for January 2013. It's from a site that takes the previous years death totals and averages it out to show what could be happening now. Obviously actual totals for jan 2013 would be impossible to put together like this. I know at my work we don't send in cause of death reports to our medical director but quarterly. It probably gives a good idea of what we are up to in the death categories compared to last year. It's updated by the second. Let me find the link. It also does not have the mass shootings data in the right box even noted on the website for some reason. I can't find the site, I found it by a search on another computer, but now my iPhone is getting different results. It was called roman332.com or something. It used CDC and a hole bunch of data to do it. Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Spelling and gramhair mistakes guaranteed move along,

  16. I was answering your question as you posted, read above this. Back to obamas spending, so how is it ok for him to spend 1.4 Billion annually to run his office with your money, but you.....yes you complain about a CEO doing the same thing with a small fraction of obamas amount? PS majority of those quotes above were from you complaining about CEO's compensation, so you cant say you never said that. Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. 17. I have stated before Wendy I am a fiscal conservative. I don't care who is running the ship as long as your running it in the black, and in the right direction. Ive NEVER said that ANY politician was my favorite. If you are wasting my hard earned money on needless wars, handouts, bailouts where we just throw billions at a company and see what happens you should be fired. I judge them on how they are doing now, we cant change the past, but if we sit here and take whats going on in the present like a sheep its not going to get better. Governmental waste, and effectiveness is completely going down hill, and cost is skyrocketing why should I just lay there and accept it? Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. 18. Lets talk about You guys on the left, bitch whine and moan about CEO's getting bonuses, high salaries, jets, stocks etc. Especially when they do a poor job, or tank the business. The president is the highest CEO in the land, and he runs the largest business there is and its going horrible! Its also our money which we do not have a say in how it is spent(like voting someone out changes anything these days). But when it comes to OBAMA spending 1.4 BILLION to run his office its ok, but here are some examples when a CEO gets a tiny FRACTION of that money and you guys throw a freaking hissy fit. On Homedepot CEO "Tell me this isn't somehow obscene." "Its par for the course......the biggest turds always rise to the top of the cesspool. " "I wish I was a Home Depot shareholder; if I was, I'd file a shareholder's derivative lawsuit against the company by the end of the week, demanding that the severance package be nullified." "I think it perfectly fits the word "obscene"" "But this "CEO" is being rewarded for failure. " "We should line up all these fuckers, take a .50cal rifle, and send a single bullet through the whole lot. 210 Million for failing to do your job? Please." This was from one thread about one company. There are hundreds of other examples from other companies where the CEO actually did good, and you still bitched about their compensation. So please tell me why its not ok for one person to get 1-10-100-200 million in salary, bonuses, expense accounts, retirement, but obama can use 1.4 BILLION ANNUALLY and its ok?? 19. I will reply to you Wendy with my thoughts on the "perks" of the presidency. -Its a job, not a lottery winning. -Its an office not a royal family we are paying for. -I agree he should have security at a reasonable cost. -I agree he should be able to travel when it is pertinent that it be done in person. -I agree he should fly safe. -I agree that HE should have time off and a FEW vacations but not more often or more extravagant than most of the people who pay him could afford.(I have 3 jobs, my wife works, and we have not went on a vacation in years) -I agree there will be some costs in running his office -I do not agree that we pay someone 2 times what I make to take care of a dog when he has kids that can do it themselves. -I do not agree that we pay for just his wife and kids to fly out of the country on vacation -I do not agree that we spent I think over 3 million dollars for him to fly to and from Hawaii 2 times in a week -I do not agree with 1.4 BILLION to make a president happy Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. 20. Im not going to continue this with you or kallend you are hopeless, but if any debate style is childish its the one of yours and his. All you ever have to fall back on is "Bush" and "Bush Jr." You two remind me of the kids in my daughters kindergarden class with your whole naaa ahhh obama is better than bush, bush had a trust fund, obama bla bla bla. Can you live in the present, and talk about something that we can actually do something about. Yea my posts are usually typed out on a iphone, and in a hurry, I actually have THREE jobs. I dont have a nice desk to sit at and waste rich parents money while I indoctrinate their kids with California coolaid. So back to the topic at hand The CURRENT president costs us 1.4 BILLION annually http://www.hawaiireporter.com/obama-lifestyle-criticized-as-royal-author-documents-presidential-vacations-staffing-as-costing-1-4-billion-annually/123 Some of the examples of presidential perks that are highlighted in Gray’s book: There are 26 cabin crewmembers and five chefs on Air Force One. The president’s dog gets its own high-paid staffer, who is always on duty, paid an annual salary of $102,000 last year. The president has a full-time movie projectionist in the White House theater who sleeps at the White House and is on duty 24 hours a day in case anyone needs to see a movie. First Lady Michelle Obama spent more than 42 days on vacation in one year with security, travel and accommodations paid for by taxpayers. And because the president can appoint high-paid staffers without Senate confirmation, Obama has 469 senior staffers and 43 “czars.” 226 are paid more than $100,000 a year, and 77 are paid as much as $172,000 per year. In 2009, Gray said the military payroll at Camp David was $8 million and were put there serve the First Family and its guests. $102,000 for a fucking DOGGY SITTER come on man pull your heads out of your asses! 24. I have already posted about his watsteful travels such as the double vacation trip to Hawaii. Even then someone brought up bushes trips to camp David, and I condemned that. Don't believe kallend childish attempt to throw me on one side or the other I am all about the constitution and being fiscally sound, I don't care who does it. I don't even agree with state troopers now driving all over the place in gas guzzling Tahoe suv's instead of crown vics, or impalas and chargers which have to cost less at purchase and use less gas. It's in the past we can't change that, how about we talk about spending now. 17 trillion in debt and the man uses 1.6 to go make a speech he could have easily made in the rose garden at his office.
