  1. Off course this administration is honest, that has always been without any doubt. It is impossible that the US administration lies to its citizens, specially one led by GWB. There has to be an obvious reason that the 2003 State of the union Adress is off line and the president does not have to share it with you. There is obviously some top secret information that has led to this course of action.
  2. Good luck Chris, we'll be thinking of you
  3. Well, that is quite ovious they are being treated just like his: - All his records of his tenure as the Governer of Texas. - All SEC records of investigations into GWB or bankrupt companied he was associated with are unavailable for viewing. - All records and minutes of GWB and the VP of meetings regarding public energy policy.
  4. James was an incredible guy first and an incredible skydiver second. Me and my wife will truly miss him. James, I am sorry that in the end what we did wasn't enough. I know you will be looking over us when we jump. I'll be smiling at you!!!!!! blue skies forever my sky brother.
  5. That is not what he did! Only those unwilling to compromise and even discuss safety related option with regards to gun ownership. Not all gun owners are like that. I don't accept your categorization of either pro-gun or anti-gun, but that all really doesn't make any difference now does it? Anyways, I am off to Holland to say farewell to my grandmother, certainly more important than the issue of guns in america
  6. No they were both pretty freakin stupid to get into a fight over a driving incident. This situation was not better because of a gun. The only thing that would have made it better is some common decency, patience and respect for your fellow human being.
  7. Now please do tell me how this situation was so much better because a gun was involved and how much worse this could have been without the gun? In stead of shooting the guy, don't you think just driving away would have been a better option?
  8. Yeah, I have never shot any type of firearm in my life, but would love to try it one day. Philly, you confuse me. First you were saying that you were happy you were allowed to carry a weapon to defend yourself against that idiot who shot another person over a parking space argument. Then, as the story alledgedly changes, you indicate how good the gun laws are since the previously branded bad guy who probably didn't have a license anyways, was being attacked with a club.
  9. geez this is incredibly sad news to read on a Monday morning. Sending some hartfelt vibes to So Cal
  10. according to John I could not possibly agree since I do not trust the judgement of my fellow citizens. But I am sure that was a fair statement to make, wasn't it Jimbo?
  11. Really? I would like to know where you get this information.

    Skyhook 5

Those were some of my first reactions as well, but there are some interesting articles on the site. I just wonder how much of it is truly viable.

    Skyhook 5

anybody ever heard of this skyhook 5? http://www.dropzonepress.com/ basic concept is using a parachute for airplane emergencies. Not for each individual passenger, but for the airplane as a whole.
  14. No, you resume the war because daddy couldn't finish it the first time. Just like junior is now pushing seniors exploration of space agenda.
  15. Actually it is quite opposite. I trust that the majority of my fellow citizens do not want to harm and kill me. Hence, I don't carry a gun to protect myself. You on the other hand don't trust the judgement of your fellow citizens and feel that you need a gun to protect yourself. PS. one of the links in your proof does not exist.
  16. No problem, just remember, you will have to carry insurance on the misuse of the firearm to carry it in public, just like a vehicle.
  17. Do you actually read what you are writing?????? Criminals by definition break certain portions of the law, otherwise they wouldn't be criminals now would they?
  18. I wonder if they ever thought it possible that the only WMD would pop up in Texas.

    Why?

I guess the voices in his head told him to give money to religious groups. God talks to him, you understand.
  20. Because it is easier and cheaper not to have guns. One less thing to remember before us Canadians walk out the door. We already have to remember our touque, the keys to our dogsled and to turn down the stove so that our igloo doesn't burn down while we are out.
  21. True, that is because the police can't do much until a crime has been comitted. Hence in Canada it is illegal to walk around with a firearm. That way we prevent people from constently shooting eachother
  22. True and I am sure that for engineers this is all very interesting and usefull However, for your every day household use, the metric system is so much easier.
  23. All very true. I grew up with the metric system and since I moved to Canada have had to learn the imperial units as well. I truly find the metric system easier, mainly because it is more logical. It is far easier to remember that a kilometer is 1000 meters and hence a Kilogram is 1000 grams. It is easier than 12 inches in a foot, but then three feet in a yard and then 1760 yards in a mile.
  24. And a 3000 S.F. building is not even close to what the typical dimensions of a "Big Box" type store are. More like to 10 to 100 times that size.
