Sighhh. Fine. If he was trying to have sex, he'd be flaccid. -

Your journalistic sourcing is piss-poor to non-existent. If you were a cub reporter, your editor would kick your ass out of his office and tell you to get out there and source the story properly. If it was an academic assignment, you'd get an F. If it was a complaint to the police, it'd be laughed outta the station house for lack of admissible evidence. If it was a story you told your parents, you'd be sent to bed without supper for fibbing. I think in the UK it would qualify as "wanking". Ah, but here in Speaker's Corner, you think your edjumacted guess is good enough to get solid traction. You're in the wrong forum. Please take Boobies to Bonfire. ETA: I'm open-minded. Bring me some solid sources and we'll talk again. -
Rich Winstock Swoop Incident Cover-Up
Andy9o8 replied to skydived19006's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I guess I don't understand that statement. The facts in this incident have been pretty widely reported and confirmed by the Co-DZO. Knowing what disciplinary action does or foes not occur wouldn't provide you with anything that you don't already know. Did I miss something? Possibly. Or maybe I am. See, to repeat what I said above, the problem is that after the co-DZO and others "reported" what happened, other people have essentially said, "Well, I've spoken privately to person/people in the know, and what was previously reported.... isn't what really happened." Period, full stop. But no further info to fill-in that gap. -
When you have Christ, the carcinogens will take care of themselves. Carcinogens do what carcinogens do, it is what it is. With Christ you can have peace of mind dealing with it. http://data.whicdn.com/images/14315163/memes-lol-jesus_large.jpg

Even better would be to waterboard them. Just because. It'll be just like going on vacation to a water park! Great idea! https://coolaggregator.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/080608waterboard_thrill_ride.jpg -

Soo...might you be implying that since the violence is confined to 2 small neighborhoods that are run by the street gangs, it's palatable to understand the violence or maybe accept it? That is sheer equivocation. Sorry, not buying your argument. That's not the take-away I got from his post; but I'll let him speak for himself. -

It'll be the same, more or less, as long as there are other socially-demanded commodities that remain unlawful: other intoxicants, gambling, sex, etc. This has long been one classic argument in favor of legalizing vice: to drastically reduce its connection to the criminal element that profits from it by taking the risk of supplying it. But just as there is a profitable military-industrial complex that needs constant "threats" to feed it, so, too, is there a police-criminal justice-prison complex that feeds off of as much social activity as possible being and remaining illegal. Both complexes are heavily backed by the private corporations and public employee unions that profit from them, and by the politicians that profit from the corporations and the unions. And so it goes, and will ever be. -
Touch a nerve there, skippy?

As someone who is both a dick and concerned about malware risk, I can tell you that not everyone who is concerned about malware risk is necessarily a dick.

Australia getting the rough end of the stick "again"

The old man was a Mexican immigrant, too. So much for border control. -
Ever see the mini-Van and SUV Drivers particualrly during morning and afternoon commute in Northern VA? They act like they own the road, drive like no one but them is on it, make up for most of the accidents during these rush hour times and everytime I see them getting pulled over and ticketed, I laugh my @$$ off. We got some raving rectum Prius drivers as well. When my kids learned to drive I taught them to always give an extra watch-out for pickup trucks: type-for-type, most likely to drive aggressively and pull asshole shit without warning "just because they can", and least likely to use their turn signals... pretty much ever.

Congressional candidate contesting election because...
Andy9o8 replied to ryoder's topic in Speakers Corner
It will always amaze me how a political party can allow people like that to represent them. To other issues raised in this thread: IMHO too many people are single or double issue voters. As long as the candidate agrees with them on one or two key issues, they don't look any further. (or simply don't care) How do you feel about voters that vote based on skin color - or actually, Half skin color? That's why more moderates voted for Obama than for McCain: the albino was scary, so they voted for the white guy. -

Ha! I just KNEW there was a reason why my favorite American foods are Chinese and Italian. Washed down with Guinness, of course. Anyhow, Chuck, your xenophobia, no matter how it may be couched, is as old as the hills. For example, see posts 9 thru 12 of This Other Thread where it's discussed, very much with this thread in mind. -

Andy9o8 replied to Zep's topic in Speakers Corner
It has an anthropological basis. I understand it. Shame we haven't outgrown it. The irony is that this thread is a mirror image of the drooling, anti-immigrant xenophobia on full display in the "Courageous Americans confront illegal immigrants" thread currently going on in here. Different continent, same damn thing. Same irony, too: descendants of European immigrants whose disease, weapons and whiskey wrought genocide on the native/aboriginal population, now complaining about the current wave of immigration. As if their ancestors weren't enough of a pox on the land. -

Thanks for reminding us that knuckle-dragging xenophobia is part of the universal human condition everywhere in the world. -
LOL. You and RonD don't even have the basic skills to be effective trolls.
