I was sure it was called "slap and tickle" gee funny how times change. I must agree with Will though. Why tip?...I don't get it. Pay for the service, get the service. I could easily not use the service at all. I pack for myself and very occasionally for others if they are doing briefings etc and we are on the same load. I am not the fastest, it takes me 15-20 mins depending on the BS, which I enjoy, being spoken on the packing mat. The only unpleasant part is that the temp can get to 42-48 deg C in summer. Up until very recently. Five years of production management in a heavy fabrication industry. Five years of dealing with militant unionists who hate you on principle. Five years of motivating people who do not see why they need to work to be paid. Five years of having 20-25% of your workforce as ex-cons and another 50% on their way. The surprise of having one of your best people arrested for raping his own daughter. The shock of having him out of jail and back at work in 3 months. The wagers taken as to how many of your people will be shot or stabbed over the Christmas holidays. The 'joys' of firing somebody. The wonders of the 13hr day, seven day week with no time to skydive. The five or six belly laughs I get every day. The wonders of teaching a forty year old man how to read and do basic arithmatic. The happines you feel when the team, fucked up as they are, does well. Arranging a job for some old guys son, on his retirement day. Coaching a youngster from toilet cleaner to artisan. and so on and so on. I hated my job / I loved my job. Can Clay prove any of this because if he can and the Chinese are truly using thingamabobs in their cluck cluck switches our boy could be due some $$$. I just mailed a mate of mine in Spain about the switches and he says it is true. He opened one on his desk this morning. He confirms that the thing was filled with boinggones and when the finally finds them all he will let me know if a thingamabob is amongst them. He does however, confirm my suspicions that there is nothing resembling a widget or any of it's family inside the cluck cluck switch. A widget is the adjustable retaining clip found inside the cargo holds of wide body airliners. It is used to lock the baggage containers in place. It's plastic cousin is found in beer tins. A larger widget is refered to as a goodiegat and a smaller one is a magodie. For example. There is a magodie inside a click click switch. There is no magodie inside a click cluck switch. A click cluck switch goes 'click' one way and 'cluck' the other way. A cluck cluck switch is generally a broken click cluck switch.
