Wouldn;t sue at all, Accidents do happen, ANYONE can make them. That means i could do exactly that and accidentally collide (although ill do my bloody best to avoid a collision), so it would be totally unfair to sue of something we are all fallible of doing edited to add - when i mentioned DELIBERATE, i was referring to pressing criminal charges against the jumper concerned, not the DZ - although that would be veyr rare and would have to involve someone coming at me with a chainsaw and trying to cut down in midair - point being - wouldn;t happen. But unless that alien circumsatnce happaned at all, i wouldn;t sue even whether it was negligence or lack of care. And certainyl not in an accident

Erm.. i think thise two point come into it abit... but i just wish she resolved it before.. voldemort has escaped so many times and come back.. its all gets a bti repetitive IMHO. but a lot of people like it that way, just down to personal taste really.

I'm excited to see where it goes - its so open right now that I could easily see this dragging on for as many as 12 more books! I really hope another one comes out soon! I need my " 'Arry Potter" fix Quote Noo not another 12 !!!!!!!! Lol i see what you mean, but IMHO the Goblet of fire should have been the last one. im sure if the monet keeps raking in... so will will the books continue to be produced

Sorry if this seems a dumb question, and i do not mean to "hijack" the thread at all, but if the pilot chute was wrapped around the body, would a hook knife be able to cut it away? Would that work? thanks, Mike

LOL youre being a bit to kind to Old british weather!!! We wish it was snny!

Without going off topic, one could also argue that South Africa could have helped control Mugabe and Zimbabwe slightly to. Although many other countries should have done something aswell.

The first four were quite addictive and a good read... but the latest one is more of a disappointment IMHO. dunno why. But very good series though, a lot of clever plots which hook the reader in.

You want paranoid ? Here it is .(or who told you??)

Ahhh youre referring to Australia , now i see the link. I don't know what you are accused of or whether you honestly did it or not. I hope you didn;t, and alhtough i cannot be sure i would give you the benefit of the doubt. Agreed, a lot of courts are crap when it comes to apologising, - a dude in england lost 25yrs of his life for supposedly murdering his wife when she actually ided of a heart attack = only got £60,000. nothing for 25 yrs of his life. Im sorry you have endured these, and some of the legal systems are flawed, and unforunately some people within establishments in privileged positions don;t wanna spoil it for themselves and so are against apologising - doesn't necessarily mean they represent the whole system though. But british legal system are still quite fair compared to others round the world, - i don;t know how you were perseceuted but this has obvousely touched you deeply. Im sorry you feel that way and hope it will be resolved for you, - im not denying at all that our system is unfiar in SOME ways, and you very well be an innocent victim. Good luck dude, thing is... if you don't like the system and you had the money, emmigration could do it? i dunno somewere without the "pommie system " which could be fairer. good luck though, it must be hard to be in your shoes. mike -

Mike111 replied to Trae's topic in Speakers Corner
What exactly is your injustice though? Perseceuted under the British empire or wrongly accused of a crime by those in power because it suited them/ Im not mocking, its just i can't really see what happaned... -
Which would also result in more Allied lives being lost - more combatants - more of a threat.

.... what was your greatest fear? Just curious to know what other people's fears were when then were training? myne: door exit and not panicking (being worked on) mike -
Only ever done AFF side exits crouching down from a PA32. They are really good fun. Would like to do a backflip oneday or climb out and face into the plane and let go.

If a friend is being unfairly treated, ill stand up and defend them. However judging when the treatment is unfair depends on the circumstances - he could have been horrible to someone and was being told off for it which would be fair. But if not, i would stand up for him regardless of what others thought. Thats how you find out who your true friends are and aren't

Hey, Firstly don't worry about the tumbling problem - i had the exact problem on AFF level 5 and tried repeats and still fucked it up!!! So youre not the only one. I would recommend you give UK parachuting a call. I train there an have found that the are nothing but complete professionals who are brilliant and really helpful. If you go MIDWEEK you should find a good chance of getting trained in the way you want to. They are really understanding and great coaches, adn really know what they are doing. If you want any info just check out their website, www.ukparachuting.co.uk However, ive only jumper there and dont; really know what any other places are like... they might be others to which you might prefer. but they are really good. Good luck, Mike

I know you are, and I'm suggesting that it would be better if the US sat idly by a whole lot more oftenQuote I rather they didn;t since that often they are one of the more capable countries in dealing with a situation. Russia are powerful, but as good yet as the USA. Although this is YET. Although it might have been better not to have taken action in IRaq this time.

Training for when you're not in the air.

The skydiver's Handbook by Dan poynter is a really good all round book covering everything, so that could be good for keeping all the skills in check. another thing - breakaway DVD, That covers all maflucntions and is good visaully - www.paragear.com. That could be a really good buy as it would give you confidence mentally that you knew all your stuff. Hope that helps -
Your high school sweet heart: where is she/he now ?
Mike111 replied to cocheese's topic in The Bonfire
she moved to another school in the Midlands becuase her father had changed jobs and was posted there. Lol id only been with her for3 weeks (beofer term ended) so it wasn't really a big deal at all. She was nice though -
No, I don't see the point at all. I do not see any nations saying what you claim. The US has ASSUMED the role, often contrary to international opinion. Quote Well if the US hadn't of done it, who would have? The UN? Doubtable.

How did u pay for ur rig?
Mike111 replied to FrEaK_aCcIdEnT's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
i rent one, much cheaper. -
IMHO, some movies are better than books. For example, Lord of hte Rings, was far too long for me to read all the way through, while i thought the film gave all the main detail but in a more interesting way. Or probably im just too lazy
