Airann, I lived in Leesville; an hour south of S'port for three years. Shreveport resumed jumping at the Downtown Airport in march of this year. I last jumped there in april before moving to Kentucky. Shreveport is a beautiful place to jump- you are right over the red river and the spot is often right over downtown buildings and the riverboat casinos. In addition, you get a good view of all the nuclear B-52s on standby at nearby Barksdale air force base. The only downside is that there is only a cessna there right now. If your are addicted to jumping you may be disappointed with that. SD Dallas in Whitewright is about 3 hours from Shreveport and has bigger aircraft.
