Some countries are more regulatory towards safety than the US, and some less. Some countries have mandatory flight line checks, wing loading restrictions etc. And there are a few jumps going on in the rest of the world..... Never try to eat more than you can lift

Yup - when i emigrated here about 6 months ago. I still use windows machines (work, and my fileserver is one) but i WAY prefer my mac, with a couple of small exceptions. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Mike you gotta stop with the lolcats - that gets me reading icanhascheezburger every time you do it and detracts from reading the thoughtful, well thought out intelligent and sensitive discussions here in SC! Never try to eat more than you can lift

Fast Fast Fast lenses, think big bucks and lots of weight generally, but there is a 50mm f1.4 that is not outrageous, you would just have to be very careful with your framing. You can push to 3200 on the 20d i think as well which gives you one more stop, but not sure i would want to do that. RAW can help push the exposure to a certain extent, but it can't create image data that isn't really there so you need to do as much as possible. FWIW, i really like shot 2. I think it would look good cropped about a third of the way up, push the saturation just a touch, and print it onto canvas! That takes care of the graininess!!!! Having read it - this sentence made me laugh. Its more rare to find a politician actually answering a straight question, and then even when you play them a recording of an answer they usually try and say that wasn't what they meant. Sorry Tony, not a leg to stand on. Never try to eat more than you can lift

I didn't actually read the article - the Poll was enough. the idiot has been wrong since the day he was elected. Sounds like another world leader i can think of.... Never try to eat more than you can lift

England banning smoking in enclosed public place
Stumpy replied to SpeedRacer's topic in Speakers Corner
I have recently moved to NZ where there is already no smoking indoors and has been for a while, and its such a fantastic thing. A lot of the places have heated outdoor areas where people can smoke but it is so nice and feels som much cleaner being in a bar with no ashtrays. Never try to eat more than you can lift -

Nope - i have heard very similar discussions about gymnastics, and i would imagine figure skating is exactly the same. Anything that is subjective will always have people complaining. Never try to eat more than you can lift

This is a good point however i think the counter is that by the time this was discovered, the current administration would be long gone. Never try to eat more than you can lift

For ref - i do about 35km a week at the moment, mixed hill and road running, some on trails. if you are running that much, get two pairs of shoes and alternate them. Its not a problem right now but as your distance goes up your shoes take a pounding. Get someone who knows what they are doing to fit your next shoes. WHat is good for one person is not necessarily good for another. Shoes are designed with different gaits in mind, whether you supinate or pronate, how hard your heel strike is etc. I recently got fitted for shoes and i have a very neutral gait which is apparently quite unusual. I had to run on a pressure pad and then a treadmill with a camera directly behind my feet. The shoes they recommended are by far the most comfortable i have ever had, and the shin splint problem i had has completely gone Try to run on grass/ dirt etc. Nothing hammers your joints and promotes shin splints like running on tarmac. Finally make sure you enjoy it - don't let it become a chore. If you can find someone to go with, all the better! Edited to add - and good luck of course! Never try to eat more than you can lift

I'd say ground launching and paragliding fit in the "related" sports in the same way that BASE does. Personally i don't think you need anything more than Bonfire for the rest of this stuff but if you did want to put anything ales? maybe the really accessible and common things like running and cycling. Did my first group ride this weekend - it was a real buzz. 90km with a bunch of hills, group riding was a new experience but good fun, a few more things to think about but in a good way! And on the way back to town the fast boys picked the pace up... and up... and up..... to see who could hold on! I couldn't eventually! Recommend it to anyone! Never try to eat more than you can lift
