Thanks all - i'll see if i can get her to chime in here. I'm not sure but i think it was caused by scuba - i'll get some words of her and be a bit more specific. Never try to eat more than you can lift

I actually think RSE was better than earlier Adobe offerings. and more to the point it was free rather than a $hit load of cash. Having said that - i have a copy of PSCS3 now and its impressive. I'm not convinced about lightroom yet. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Yeah but they get there a lot faster.... Never try to eat more than you can lift

Yeah RSE was a great program. Unfortunately Adobe (i think) bought it, and they have now stopped supporting and updating it for new cameras. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Friend of mine has previously had a burst eardrum. Should this preclude her from doing a tandem? I believe it is all healed from what her last doctor said, but is this one where she needs to seek a doctors opinion? or would this generally not be a problem? Thanks in advance Dave Never try to eat more than you can lift

He he fair enough!! If you are in the 30 day thing then make the most of it!!! But when you take it in, like you said, keep an eye on what they are doing and ask questions. As for indexing - in the '"olden days" you moved the lever till it put the derailleur in the exact position required - it was a continuous motion from top gear to bottom. Gears these days are usually "indexed" which means that you click once and you get a down shift, or an upshift. As the cables stretch, the derailleur position per click changes over time so the shifts become less crisp, especially under pressure like when climbing for example. Its a very simple thing to fix this, usually by barrel adjusters on your gear levers or something similar. (Its a lot less complicated (and messy) than an oil change!) If the bike shop will show you then its a very simple operation. As for position, see if you can find someone who really knows how to fit a bike to you. I'm doing 100 - 200k rides every week at the moment, and if the bike is not quite right you REALLY get to know about it. Fortunately mine was fitted to me by an expert, and its 100 times better than my old one. I get tight in the shoulders after a couple of hours now, but thats more lack of training than bike fit! Good luck with it, i love road biking, and group rides especially are a lot of fun! Never try to eat more than you can lift

Sounds like you need to take half a turn out of the limit screw. No need to go to a shop for that! Its well worth learning how your bike works. I try and do anything that can be done without haing to spend a lot of money on specialist tools. Your indexing will probably go a little out of whack really soon too as the cables stretch so keep an eye on that. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Landed on Rear risers...good idea or no???

Good job, i had the exact same thing happen to me about 100 jumps later than you and i did exactly the same as you did. If you are packing for yourself make sure you are stowing your excess brake line right - thats how mine was caused because i picked up the toggle through the loop somehow and knotted it up. 2-3% of worldwide sales on computers maybe, but i'd be interested to know what the stats on the MP3 players are and i'd put the iphone much more squarely in that sort of a market. That said, i'm not getting one. I use my phone for phonecalls and texting, have been there done that with all the other features and most of them are just a PITA Never try to eat more than you can lift

I used to pack for a couple of people who didn't want me to use ANY line stows except the locking stows. the rest of the line was just figure 8 in the pack tray. They got some of the best openings i have seen. (Canopies were a stilletto and an original sabre) I don't believe that the rest of the line stows make much difference apart from keeping things tidy. Like others have said, focus on the slider and the locking stows. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Sorry, just asking (there is virtually no tipping culture here), but isn't that whats generally called a job? I thought tipping was for something over and above?? Never try to eat more than you can lift

Laszlo's looks like it might be custom, but have a look at the really right stuff thread for a good alternative Edited to add: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=2699057;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread Never try to eat more than you can lift

What kind of tunnel? Are you looking for something to increase your lift, i.e. ZP? or is it a really powerful tunnel and you just need a suit to fly in? Lots of manufacturers do good suits, most people on here will just name what they use and say its the best. I think the number of ZP suits however are still a bit more limited and specialist. Looking at the site, if you want to do jumping you will be better off with the bigger kites (P2 P3 P4, or maybe the biggest snapshot unless its REALLY windy where you are!) Just spoke to a couple of friends about these and apparently they are nice kites but wouldn't be classed at the "high performance" end of the market, more in the intermediate range. But thats fine if you haven't flown much! I'd suggest getting kites that can be flown on 4 lines though, especially if you have any wish to attach yourself to a board/buggy at any stage in the future! Never try to eat more than you can lift

Otherwise known as Surfers drip! if you surf the water gets that deep into your head that sometimes it takes a while to drain back out! Problem is, usually it happens just as you are having dinner, or in a meeting, or leaning over to kiss your date... Attractive i know! Never try to eat more than you can lift
