  1. Ohio and the people get it She doesnt the unions have caused more damage over the last 5 years than any other group except for congress +1 only I would say more like 25 years the unions did many good things while they were working for the people, but now they work for themselves and for power and niether is good fo the people. why would they try to get more money and benifits knowing they would bankrupt the institution? because they want power not reasonable pay for the people. >"...but now they work for themselves and for power..." Let us not forget they also work for the Democratic Party and the President of the United States. With more than 400 million dollars poured into the 2008 election. Unions are all about securing their strangle hold on the democrats while they fleece their members for dues that go directly to liberal causes.
  2. >9% unemployment... Gallup had the number at 10%, just saying.
  3. Sounds like someone who understands the problem, Eradicating / Purging. You go after evil and put a stop to it. The US knows were these Pirates operate from, they know where this Clan lives, yet we do nothing.
  4. What do you do for a living Bill? Because it can't have much to do with anything real if that's what you hope for. He rides a bicycle, and lives in a Pop-Up.
  5. Fixed it for you. Don Thanks, Your the best
  6. After they have killed four people that they kidnapped and held for Ransom...YES Has congress declared WAR? I think we should take the battle to their homes and city that they opperate from. Locate the Mother ships and sink them with all on board. Purge them from the face of the earth if possible, or at least make a good attempt in purging them from the face of the earth.
  7. Stimulous funds did not go to shovel ready jobs but to unions, not to just shore up their personal benefit plans but to keep them employeed so that their UNION DUEs would still be flowing into the Dem. Party which they supported to the tune of 400 Million in the last presidential election. The big stink is Unions don't care about the Budget, they care about their power within the Dem. Party. They are more than willing to have a State or our Country face Bankruptcy just don't touch their money machine which is average tax payers that work in the Private Sector. http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/64116527.html http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703529004576160273318213558.html?mod=WSJ_Opinion_MIDDLETopOpinion
  8. I went on an interview much like you, about 21 years ago. It even seems that we interviewed for the same company, although 20 years ago it went by a different name. I got involved part time, and remained part time for more than 20 years now. It has helped me put my kids through private school, and provided extra money for me to get my pilots lic., skydiving amoung other things. My best year I earned 33K part time. Last year was my worst, just under 12K.
  9. Because there is a BIG difference between being a useful tool and being a necessity that has been proven to be just that, a NECESSITY. Regan, though why you brought him up in this discussion of Boehner, used the teleprompter occasionally, and rarely if ever in an outdoor setting, could speak for himself instead of chanting and regurgitating what his speech writers told him to say, as Obama does. My comment was that, at least Boehner isn't afraid of making a mistake, because even if he does, and it is a whopper of a mistake, it is because he mispoke his own thoughts, noit those of the puppet masters that control your idol. Reagan, also wrote many of his own speaches. Just Saying.
  10. Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. I like the New American Standard version, it doesn't confuse me as much.
  11. Lets not forget Congress, and several Presidents demanded, and strong armed financial institutions into providing affordable housing (mortgages) to those who could not afford to pay. So jail time should be shared by all that were involved. A bigger issue is Social Security, which I think could be a massive problem in 15 -20 years.
  12. AHH, Diversification...you're good, I need to check back with my broker. Thanks for the tip.
  13. Mea culpa. Well I thought it was funny.
  14. Yes - I do - it is climate change until it doesn't fit the climate change parameters, then it is weather. Climate change can be good, we need to embrace global warming...after all there are billions of dollars at stake. You need to get in on the action before its to late.
  15. My question is this: How would one think the speech would have been different if the 2008 election went differently? http://www.la2day.com/files/u228/rocky_bullwinkle_duo1_0.jpg
  16. My question is this: How would one think the speech would have been different if the 2008 election went differently? The speach would have been in a Town Hall setting and not conducted in the Capital Building.
  17. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/01/20/virginia-require-schools-tabs-cost-illegal-students/# With respect to this Forum, and your Post, only about 7-10 replys, TOPS. A majority of Americans are greatly concerned about the cost of Illegal Immigration. However many of our politicians, George Bush, Barak Obama, media, elitist, and a great deal of americans...it's not even on their Radar so to speak.
  18. http://www.ncpa.org/pdfs/ba514.pdf I was thinking, Galveston County in the 1980's were able to OP OUT of SS. The link above has the story, if only I knew how to link it properly
  19. > But to give it to those OVER a certain age.. when those folks already HAVE a fair degree of wealth... "Probably the greatest harm done by vast wealth is the harm that we of moderate means do ourselves when we let the vices of envy and hatred enter deep into our own natures." Theodore Roosevelt "If an American is to amount to anything he must rely upon himself, and not upon the State; he must take pride in his own work, instead of sitting idle to envy the luck of others. He must face life with resolute courage, win victory if he can, and accept defeat if he must, without seeking to place on his fellow man a responsibility which is not theirs." Theodore Roosevelt "I don't pity any man who does hard work worth doing. I admire him. I pity the creature who does not work, at whichever end of the social scale he may regard himself as being." Theodore Roosevelt Just my .02 cents
  20. >..."cut federal employment by 15%..." My understanding is the 15% would come from natural attrition and if government wanted to hire, the ratio would be 2 to 1, 2 government jobs lost could only be replaced with 1 hired.
  21. > This guy (if I remember correctly) is accused of killing 5 live born babies with scissors. I got the impression from another news source the Number of live born babies that were murdered was well above 5. But with partial birth abortions, do they not do the same thing, only difference is they don't give the child a chance to take their first breath. Anyone that can casually terminate the life of a child with a pair of scissors for a few dollars should themselves be terminated after the trail of course. PS: I would like to apologize for using the term, "Terminated", with careful reflection and remembering the tender state of our Nation when it comes to words, I would like to retract the hurtful word from my post and replace it with "EXECUTE / EXECUTED". Rushmc, I pray you can forgive me for the lapse in judgment. As CNN would say, I'm trying hard not to use these words in our discourse.
  22. Is it possible the sheriff, with his remarks has given a defense attorney some leverage? Primarily, his remarks that Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh are somewhat responsible for this shooters mind set. And then with news coming out that the sheriffs department was aware of the shooters past but failed to act in the interest of the public as well?
  23. The impact to the Gulf was less than if I poured a thimble of OIL into my 20,000 gal pool, than stirred it up with a little swimming, much like a tropical storm would. But remember, when your extorting Billions of dollars from any organization you need lies and a willing press to pull it off. Not saying BP, doesn’t have a responsibility to pay for legitimate damages. This administration has created more economical damage to the US than BP could dream of doing.
  24. http://globalgrind.com/channel/news/content/1900155/roger-ailes-amp-russell-simmons-both-sides-are-wron/ Not that this link will change anything. But I'm sure the two sides in this debate will continue to find ways to discredit the other. A house divided will not stand, thus the fate of a once great nation. Maybe, one day we can all shake hands and make up. Now I'll return to my self imposed BANNING
  25. I'm rubbing my eyes, I think I read it correctly, and I still agree with it. Must be a New Year
