"I thought student lead prayers was allowed?" You answered a question with a question. Satanist, offering prayers up in ceremonies funded by the Tax payers.....UM I thought this was already occuring at the Airforce Academy. I could be wrong though. Maybe its because they perfer to use the term of Pagan or Wiccan.

I thought student lead prayers was allowed? As a side note: and maybe this is directed more to dreamdancer, Is it offensive to an atheist if a family out to dinner prayed over their meal in a public setting. Not loud but possibly audible to a nearby table? Should that speech be considered unlawful and not protected under our constitution? May thought is, if burning the American Flag which I think is repugnant, but considered free speech and protected under the law. I find the discussion of prayer being offensive to some, somehow needs to be quenched and therefore not considered free speech nor protected in public settings.

Another deather. I'm going to need the long form certificate before I believe it - you know, the one signed by the attending coroner, the priest who gave the last rights and the spec ops guy who shot him! > priest....wow the Navy has no shame. Spec ops guy shot him?? I thought Obama shot him, or was it he gave the orders to fire from his Golf cart. from his supper secret putter phone.

Another deather. Damn, are you saying someone already beat me to it.

I agree. Wendy P. All this rejoicing around the Globe before anyone has even seen the Official Death Certificate.

Damn suspicious, what? Did you also notice that his mother dated her signature 8-7-61? Now, if she was using the british system of date notation (as the Kenyan Barack Sr would) that would mean she signed it 8th of July! Why would she do that? I'll tell you why, she must have signed it in advance before leaving for Kenya, then when Barack Jr was born in a mud hut somewhere on the Maasai Mara she cabled the hospital to fill out the rest of the form and file it away as the perfect cover! It's literally the only possible explanation (As an aside, can anyone even remember how this whole thing got started?) Something about campaign lawyers spending 2 million dollars to keep the Birth Cert. Sealed, hell I don't know for sure. Is it possible BHO is even HUMAN, enquiring minds want to know.

Except, of course, from other followers of Christ, who say they're doing it all wrong Wendy P. I know that can be a problem...but your response requires me to ask....are you going about it all wrong

Well, I guess that experence is somewhat frustrating. Romans 8:1 through 8 comes to mind. For any Christ follower, it is important to remember there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. And the only reason one maybe asked to profess their faith is to be a witness to others and how through Christ their life has changed. It also important to remember we are all still sinners, working daily to be more like Christ.

Well I hope I can answer your question: or at least make an attempt to answer it to your satisfaction. From the New International Version "Bible" Luke 23:39 - 43 39: One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: "Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us!" 40: But the other criminal rebuked him. "Don't you fear God," he said, "since you are under the same sentence? 41: We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong." 42: Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom." 43: Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise." So to your point, "this man who was on a cross being crucified with Christ, had no time to get baptized, no time to ask for forgiveness to those who he sinned against, unable to atone for any of his wrong doing. But at some point in this man's pain and agony during crucifixion he moved passed any previous disbelief to humbling himself and making a simple request from his heart. So this man as Christ promised is in paradise, certainly didn't deserve to be, never did anything to find himself worthy to be there other than through Grace. Jesus started his Ministry among broken men, and ended it for 3 days before his resurrection surrounded by broken me. One man risked out for forgiveness in the only way he knew how and the other went to his death hurling insults.

This seems unreasonable to me (if drivers are not being given a choice). Courts have mixed rulings about searching and seizing electronic devices during detention or arrest without a warrant. I don't see how it would be legal for MSP officers to take mobile devices and download them against owners' wishes unless they were arrested or there was a search warrant. Thoughts? Viable legal defense of the practice? I'd hate to stand up in court and try to justify it to a judge. Complete Government control in all aspects of our lives is a good thing, right?

How often do you believe the federal government?
Channman replied to jimbrown's topic in Speakers Corner
Obama, has outright lied to the American People on multipul occasions, Ford?? 'm not sure, but possible. -
The remedial training Yes, but the Senator should have also been subjected to having his Lic. suspended for a minimum of 6 months, but revoking the lic. would be more in line with his actions. "Pilot loses license after buzzing Texas beach June 24, 2010 HOUSTON (AP) — Federal officials have revoked the pilot’s license of a man who buzzed a crowd on a Galveston County beach, flying a single-engine plane as low as 15 feet about the ground and snagging a fishing line. Joseph Bryan Kirbow flew so low during the March incident that the plane snagged a man’s line and broke his fishing pole, while wind from the plane blew another man’s hat off, the Federal Aviation Administration said Wednesday."

> Ya perhaps....Paul was awesome, an inspiration. It's no wonder God decided to use him...

Sometimes we need to be careful where we cast our pearls. I find this type of discussion is best managed one on one, less likely to insight a Mob. But I'm printing these pages, makes for some excellent discussion and teaching. Cheers

That young boy has a Medical problem which goes beyond what he eats. I wonder if Lap-band surgery is an option.

Came across this quote which I think sums up where we are at as citizens when it comes to our vote. "The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president." Well, as Wendy said, I'm sure we all can replace Barack Obama with a President of our choice. I however think it rings true for a citizenry that can vote for a man who was unknown and a Press so willing to carry his bags of BS.

This want change many minds, as polarized as we are as a nation. Much like supporting your High School Football team, no matter how bad they are, you still stand up and cheer for them. But it is good to see, some are finally getting it, that this President is no more than an empty suit. More involved with Basketball and sports and having a good old time, than running the business and the affairs of a once great nation. Obama's trip to South America, will help him relax with family and catch up on some sports reading and see the sites. After all he is far to engage to involve himself in matters of the State, much less the World.

I think this may be part of the problem. I get the impression that some people are equating "same-sex marriage" with "anal sex." My girls were watching Glee the other night, two guys started kissing, I therefore turned the TV to a different channel. Anal Sex was not on my mind, but the two actors, Maybe.

Madison Rally Bigger Than Biggest Tea Party Rally
Channman replied to dreamdancer's topic in Speakers Corner
A great many of the so called 100,000 were not even from the state of WI. I even know of 5 individual union members from Houston that were travelling up there to show support. As Walter would say, "Dum ASS" Amazing how one group of people can demand yet another group of people to pay them more, because they think they are entitled. Obama's Billion dollar campaign fund is in jeopordy , if he can't put a stop to this. With unions promissing 100's of millions in donations, I see Obama getting more involved quitely in the shadows. -
About time the Wisconsin Senate went back to work

Local news ( Fox 11 out of Green Bay & Fox 6 out of Milwaukee) did report 22 rounds were found by law enforcement on the grounds of the Capitol... "peaceful "demonstrators" ( some acquaintences who were there) confirm they were found, but only 'planted' as an attention seeking message This same individual also denies any damage to the tune of < $ 700,000.00 by protestors to the interior of the Capitol, but didn't offer much of an explanation when the camera shots were aired The 700k or 7M (I have heard both) number is only a cost that is real if you use union workers, otherwise it would be about 1/7th that number. We could get a couple of illegal Mexicans to do it for around $50K Heh - maybe if it were in Texas That's fine with me, as long as you have them back in a week, so I can get my lawn mowed. -

Liberal Media Member Reveals his True Feelings

> Seems reasonably accurate to me and members of the tea party I've come across. Really, you hang out with Tea Party members? You sure your not confussing Tea Parrty members, with say Union thugs that hang out in front of peoples homes scaring their children. Or are you talking about SEIU members beating a Black Man because he was hanging out amoung the same people you say you bump into now and then. So your on record that non-liberal Americans that have an opinion different from yours are mostly un-educated Racist. Our is that your opinion of Tea Party members only? -
And finally we get to the truth. 1) political rhetoric made to appease the far left 2) Made so as to get elected 3) Lack of principal. I mayself would use the term "Lacking Core Values". "Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment."
