  1. Sorry, quade but you answered my rant before I rethunk my position. Therefore the edit. We crossed in the mail so to speak.
  2. This aviation tax is nothing more than a Shared Sacrifice... it is incubent amoung all aviators to dig deep into our pockets and pull out a WIN for our Federal Government. After all, these are services we all want and need, why not pay our fair share. We were able to come to a comprmise to devert the END of the WORLD, surly we can come to gether now to keep our skys safe.
  3. Democratic Party dead?...that's like asking if communism and or socialism is dead. They are all alive and kicking the shit out of freedom.
  4. > we're f*cked. Primarily the reason I pulled all my money out of equities and put it into money market funds. Yea, I'm not going to make any money in money market funds, and I'm sure to see a small down turn. But I guess I should look at the positive, we once again were able to stop a Make Believe Crisis, the End of the World as Nancy Pelosi put it has been called off. Conservatives and liberal American's, Progressives, communist, socialist, Channman, Rushmc, Bill, Kallend and the Amazon chick can lay our heads down tonight with visions of Dreamdancer dancing in our heads and say in a soft whisper,....”all is well.” Good Night America, sweet dreams. "To-morrow, and to-morrow, and to-morrow, Creeps in this petty pace from day to day, To the last syllable of recorded time; Have an awesome weekend, and stay safe out there...them streets are slick. Gots to go do some Instrument Approaches, staying frosty.
  5. > "We have now had 10 years of the Bush tax cuts, Hows that working out for ya?" Very, Very well thank you. I'm looking forward to several more years of tax cuts. Nice to have all that extra money in the old pocket were it belongs. Now back to my Self Imposed Banning.
  6. Well, I liked what he had to say, and I thought the exchange between Rubio and Kerry was interesting. However with that said, this so called compromise is nothing more than 9 plus trillion dollars added to our current debt over the next 10 years. So both parties are sending us down the road to Bankruptcy. We will be rioting in the street in the next few years demanding our jobs, food stamps, pensions, medical care, child care, you name it. Our collective hands will no longer be out stretch asking for more, but closed in a fist looking for someone to blame. We only have ourselves to blame. Our Nation is truely doomed if we can't even paydown a trillion dollars of debt over the next 10 years. Yep, we are looking at 23 trillion plus...it a damn shame and the rich (who's tax cuts brought us the deficit) will be laughing all the way to the bank... "Probably the greatest harm done by vast wealth is the harm that we of moderate means do ourselves when we let the vices of envy and hatred enter deep into our own natures". Theodore Roosevelt Something to think about.

  8. I'm kind of disappointed I was also hoping to get free Child Care. I mean, its difficult to keep a job when your trying to raise a family not to mention the burden of those very expensive child care payments. A little helping hand from our Government in this area would go a long ways. I was also hoping a little assistance in obtaining a more dependable vehicle. Nothing to fancy, but dependable. After all cars are a basic right, we do need to get back and forth from those jobs not to mention picking up our children from day care. After all I'm a hard working middle class American, do my best in these troubled times. If those Damn Republiclowns weren't bent on distroying the world...I would be so much better off. These two small request is all I need...and assistance with my phone bill...thats it, thats all I need, and those food stamps and, and the meals on wheels that all I need...and after school care..thats it...that all I need.........
  9. And to think I had to get laid off last Sept. to get a 15% pay increase...should have sent me packing sooner...bastards
  10. So many words, when a "Yes I agree with you" is all that is needed.
  11. Maybe people spend to much time reading Mark Juergensmeyer, thus after reading they say to themselves...Yea, thats it, what he said. What bible thumping church did Breivik's attend in Norway? Christ follower, I think not. But to tkhayes point about the evils of Christians...or religion as a whole. Should we also be reminded of some non-religious leaders, such as Joseph Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Pol Pot or others. With over a 100 million killed in the last century, should we give these forms of government a second chance. I've seen more good in the world from christians than I've seen from the above referenced leaders and their forms of government. We can all rest assure that Norway will see to it that Anders Breivik will get a nice cozy cell and parol in about 21 years.
  12. Yep. And after saying those things, he got into office and proved it. You so funny...I wonder if Chim Chim is the smart one in your family.
  13. It sounds like the bitchy little congressman is the one who can't handle himself and forgot his southern gentleman manners and is the one who could not handle the heat!!! Whats wrong.. dont like your nuts roasted??? I think it's possible she was being a RASIST. The Black Leadership should begin congressional hearings and bring disciplinary actions against her for her obvious objectionalbe (Vile) comments.
  14. If you're going to portray Reagan as one of the great leaders of modern times, you might want to choose a better quote than that one, which is entirely idiotic. UMMM...OK, "Government is like a baby, an alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other." "Government does not solve problems; it subsidizes them." That's two of my favorites.
  15. I shall ponder this and weigh it carefully. I guess as it is in Sports we tend to rally behind our team. Its would be nice if we could agree on cutting spending, Vs this continue desire to start providing new programs. Came accross this, "Tax Policy, Economic Growth and American Families" Income Equality Tied To Economic Growth "One criticism that is raised against the Reagan years is that there was a rise in income inequality. The historical record, however, does not support such a conclusion. Data collected by the Federal Reserve reveal that there was, at worst, no significant change in income inequality between 1983 and 1989.[7] Moreover, IRS data indicate that the wealthy paid an increasing share of income taxes during the 1980s.[8] These observations are consistent with economic theory. In a slowdown or a recession, the wealthy can take care of themselves through their savings and investments. Data show that the wealthy derive a much greater portion of their income from capital investments.[9] Low-income individuals, however, derive most of their income from wages and salaries, which typically decline during recessions. Since they have less savings to draw on, low-income individuals bear the burden of anemic growth far more than the wealthy. Low-income individuals are further hurt by the fact that wage and salary growth is contingent on economic growth. Critics of the Reagan years assert that cutting taxes on capital is unfair because more of the benefits (in terms of taxes returned to taxpayers) go to individuals with higher incomes. Cutting taxes on saving and investment, however, has implications beyond just the effect on tax returns, particularly with regard to which people are affected. Lower taxes on capital serve to encourage its use. More capital leads to higher wages, increased incomes, and more high-quality jobs. By raising real wages, a reduction in taxes on capital encourages greater workforce participation and spurs investments in human capital, education, and training. Whenever the economy's stock of capital increases, the relative income shares of those already wealthy decline. As a result, the gains from economic growth are spread more evenly across the population. In fact, data from the 1980s show that a good deal of the alleged rise in inequality is attributable to greater workforce participation. Most studies on income inequality rely on data compiled from tax returns. These studies often point to the fact that the income of some tax returns increased faster than others (even if most households increased in wealth). The problem with these numbers is that they fail to account for increased female labor force participation. Women who were not working previously chose to enter the labor market, since lower taxes on the product of labor increased the net compensation of their work. With two earners, families with these new labor force entrants saw rapid increases in their family income, creating the appearance of inequality. In reality, these number's simply reflect the fact that more people were working."
  16. He would have created millions of jobs and increased revenue to the treasury because of those new jobs. Congree would more than likely spend more money Vs pay down our national debt. Note: Lawrocket mentioned that Ragen made every effort to work with Tip Oneill, less anyone forget Tip Oneill dispissed Ronald Reagan and held him in Great Contempt. "The evil is in the White House at the present time. And that evil is a man who has no care and no concern for the working class of America and the future generations of America, and who likes to ride a horse. He's cold, He's mean. He's got ice water for blood." Tip Oneill On Liberalism "It has nothing more to say, nothing to add to the debate. It has spent its intellectual capital, such as it was..and it has done its deeds." Ronald Reagan Ronald Reagan also had this to say discussing his former political faith as a Democrat: "The party of Jefferson and Jackson had headed down a different road altogether"under the banners of Marx, Lenin and Stalin." The objective of the Modern Liberal is "to impose socialism" on the American people. So what would Reagan Do? He wouldn't have compromised from doing what is right for the American People. Socialism has failed every time its been tried...just my .02 cents. "
  17. Oh yes. I'd cut military spending until it was only twice as much as the next largest spending nation (China) instead of 6 times as much. I'd cancel every military program favored by a politician that the Pentagon actually didn't want, too. And every state that receives more in federal spending than it generates in federal revenues would be cut back until spending = revenues. Might cause some whining in the red states, though. Well, damn, might be a good start. Yes, I'm sure there would be some whining for sure in the Red states, but the riots in the Blue states is what concerns me. Maybe an additional .02 percent across the board on all spending programs as well.
  18. I didn't get a pay increase this year, however the same amount of money coming in allows me to cover current expenses. I might have to cut back here and there, like my flying money, but otherwise no major financial crisis. So is Obama, saying if he can't get the 2 Trillion or so he is requesting, the Government is going to go belly up, and Old people will starve, children will go with out. Bull Shit, heard this story once before. We need to pass the stimulus to prevent financial disaster. At a cost of $270,000 per job created or saved. I think a little more time is not going to create a financial collapse. I think Dems/Reps will come to some short term agreement, hopefully with major speeding cuts, including some sacred cows, and possibly a small tax increase on the so called wealthy, which will trickle down on the middle class. Question: Does any progressive liberal believe in spending cuts? Or do they think money grows on trees, or maybe its simply the belief, whats yours is mine, and I'll take it.
  19. Jon Stewart is a nice white Liberal racist. Much like Al Gore's father was a nice white Liberal racist, the kind that kept the family maid in a hot car when the family went out to eat. It must be said they would return with a sandwitch and glass of water for the family dog um I mean maid. But then there is the late Senator Byrd, the nice white Liberal Racist. Unlike his fellow Sen. Gore buddy, Byrd liked his dogs and allowed them to exit the car for a meal and a drink of water. Then of course there is Helen Thomas, never missed an oppertunity to trash a good Jew, liberal or otherwise. Is Helen Thomas a Racist, YES, or at least it appears so. But one thing is for sure, she is a Moron.
  20. I'm enjoying your exchange with JimBob...i
  21. He said, "This is a continuing attempt to blame the messenger ... I'm being accused of being a hacker." Added Breitbart, "I'm here for some vindication." According to Breitbart's website, another photo showed Weiner on a couch with two cats nearby. The site said Weiner sent the photo using the anthonyweiner@aol.com account with the subject line "Me and the pussys." When pressed by reporters at the Monday news conference, Weiner apologized to Breitbart. Well, it took a few days, but the truth has come out. Hopfully Mrs. Weiner has the ability to forgive her husband and move past this. Anthony needs to step up and get his ass off the internet and find a way to fall in love with his wife again. Hey dude, have an affair with your wife, it can be way cool.
