I would just like to take this time to CONFESS...it was all my fault. I'm the one who is responsible for this mess, I wanted to have it all and have it now. I'm going to start right now, and begin paying back all that money I took without requard to my fellow man. I need to work out a payment plan, and or set up a Channman Relief Fund for those who wish to assist me financially so I can begin paying everyone back. My last project at NASA prior to leaving (Laid off) was to design the Bundles that secured the Flight Releasable Grapple Fixtures (FRGFs) together. Well I say design, more of reverse engineer SpaceX design to a working mockup that could be used in training astronauts in the underwater environment of the Neutral Buoyancy Lab at Sonny Carter Training Facility. A brilliant engineering buddy of mine was hired away from NASA by SpaceX to handle all Structural Analysis and Finite Element Analysis among otherthings. It is said that he is on the short list as being one of SpaceX's future Astronauts. Congrats to you Jeff.

Pops, I think you would also consider it pathologically rude if someone started to meddle in your love life. Imagine what it would feel like if I came to you door to tell you what you can and can't do in bed, an who you can or cannot marry. It's no different from me. People are entitled to their religious views, even if those religious views are homophobic, but just like their sexuality they should keep their religion to themselves. All the bull-shit about same-sex marriage being a danger to the institution of marriage or society or whatnot is just that: bull-shit. There's no examples of societies that came into trouble for tolerating homosexuality or same-sex marriage. OTOH there's loads and loads of examples of fear-mongers who claim a certain demographic is a Cancer2Society to induce fear and hatred for said demographic. It's not good to dwell on the past too much, but it doesn't hurt to remember that the worst thing that ever happened to homosexuals is Christianity. I don't blame every modern Christian for that, but there's still plenty of homophobia among Christians. I don't buy those claims that Christians are genuinely worried about the institution of marriage. Sure there might be delusional idiots who think gay-marriage will destroy their marriage and society, but for the most part it's the same tactics Christians traditionally used to induce fear and hatred for certain groups. I had this question sometime back with Bill concerning Public opinion of same sex marriage. The polls would seem to indicate a majority support for legal recognition of same-sex couples (Marriage). However everytime its come to a vote in what 32 states it has been defeated. (I guess the majority was out of town). Why use the term homophobic? or even in your case christianphobic? Why marriage Vs Civil Unions and or a legal contract reconized by a state. Marriage is considered a sacred union between a Man and a Women, by millions in this country and has been for several thousand years, maybe this is the LINE that many are willing to stand on and say respectfully No. I'm just asking the question Why Marriage, when there are methods to obtain the legal reconition and protection under the law.

My oldest daughter just started a new career in Marine Insurance brokerage firm handling Risk Management for large ships, Off Shore Plateforms and Ports & shipping terminals throughout the globe. Her starting pay was 68K, which is not bad at all for a soon to be 26 year old women. She will finish her Masters in December time frame I think which is completly unrelated to the Insurance business. My understanding, there are not any degree programs for this type of work in colleges and I often wondered why. The individuals like my sister who are involved in this type of work make a great deal of money. Her salary with Bonuses was in excess of $350K last year. (No Degree) My daughters career path places her in a 250K salary within about 15-17 years. WOW, I'll even spell that backwards...WOW.

Everybody seems to be using the term "Evolving". Who in the hell uses that kind of language. My thoughts on this matter are still evolving... Yep, the Tea Party is making efforts in replacing those Repub...in name only and replacing them with those that will make a effort to bring about the CHANGE this country truely needs.
