Many of these hourly rates seems to be related to helpers and or a less skilled position where someone is being mentored i.e. Short Service Employee. They just seem very low Most of the hiring we did last month for our fabrication shop was for welders and fitters. Most of those I interviewed especially those certified in welding titanium started at 27.00 per hour. Several others started at 18 to 20 per hour. Helpers start much less, but as they gain skill their hour rate will improve.

In our profession, one of the things we look at when considering employing an individual is if they have a facebook page. As an example, a individual with a great resume and schooling applied for a PE position with our firm. After we began the interview process, we looked at his Face Book page. His facebook page was full of questionalble behavior, and thus he was excluded from our selection pool. Republicans didn't pick up 65 house sets in 2010 by abandoning their principles...The Dems when they have a member in trouble they circle the wagons, Republican circle the firing squad. I think she should have to go through medical test and follow up on an annual bases to prove she is mentally stable and that brain function is fully restored and she is 100% recovered from this disease. Much like the FAA requires a pilot to prove health after heart surgery with on-going medical requirements annually to maintain said medical. So I think she should be able to own a gun down the road, if not maybe we should consider taking the keys to her car as well.

Now how that can be compared to a major metropolitan area like New Jersey, New York or the entire east coast for that matter ? Take a look at population density in Texas and the East coast and use your common sense... Don't be a dum-ass, Galveston, League City, Pearland, Houston...maybe you get the full picture now. Millions were affected not just your so called 2500. I live in the area and had friends live in my home because their's simply didn't exist anymore.

Like most libs, they never seem to take responsibility for their lives, 7 plus days to get ready for a storm and all they were able to do was wait for the government to save them. 11 days later and their still waiting. I don't remember any such quote from a Texan, when Ike hit Galveston. That storm wiped out Boliver Peninsula, killed dozens. We just got up the next morning and began rebuilding. Didn't turn away Non-Union contractors that came into the area to help. And we sure as hell didn't have people in gas lines killing each other, or wide spread looting, well primarly in Texas we shoot looters.
