  1. Why, are republicans allowed to jump there?
  2. There I was, just minding my own business and DanG came along and the sky darken and the rain fell. Good thing I had my boots on and a large Umbrella to protect me from all that crap.
  3. Ron, No one is interested in the truth. But Cruz is killing it on the Senate Floor. He just handed Durbin his ASS...damn that boy can speak.
  4. So do I! This just keeps getting funnier and funnier...We have a clown that hates white trash flyover states. Yet I hate those who find it ok to spend our Nation into financial ruin. Which is more morally bankrupt?
  5. I want to rethink my position. I think it should be a basic human right for the US to provide all of us food at no cost, day care at no cost, a car, home, education, dental, medical, medication, long term care, security, all at no cost or burden. Just a few things I can think of that should be a basic right to any man or women. I'm sure I've missed a few items but as a nation we have plenty of money and damn the politician who would refuse to meet our every need or want.
  6. Many parent's in the US are forced to use Tough Love. But like any society, there are those that want to impose on another a responsibility that is not theirs.
  7. Well, at least the jury involved in the Zimmerman trail knew what they were doing.
  8. To note: Justice Melissa Goodwin of Austin wrote the majority opinion, joined by visiting Justice David Gaultney, both Republicans. The dissenting vote was cast by Chief Justice J. Woodfin "Woodie" Jones, a Democrat. Since I don't have a legal background, I conclude it's partisan politics at play...this time Delay won.
  9. Isn't that the case where the prosecutor had to go to four grand juries before he found one that would give him an indictment? Yep, that be the one.
  10. Tom delay's laundering verdict over-turned with all judgments against DeLay being reversed. http://www.kvue.com/news/state/224406971.html Let the Wailing and Gnashing of teeth begin.
  11. I grew up with a boy in school who's last name was "Fagg" Wasn't pleasant for the poor lad.
  12. I've should have seen it, but I was blinded by my own stupidity It's amazing how even Chris Mathews saw O's brilliance...damn public education
  13. Just the other week I was kicking back in a corporate aircraft taking a nap. Woke up and looked around and said to myself, "Self, this is a fine piece of work...must of taken a great deal of people to put you together, install all these nice comfy seats, and I love the avionic dual Honeywell Primus 1000 Flight Director and Autopilot system" Lots of jobs are created when a corporation takes an order to purchase a corp. aircraft. And think of all the Jet A required to keep it motoring along. From the insurance company, FBO, Line men, parts dealers, catering.... money is just a flying everywhere.
  14. I didn't think it was a rant as you put it. But in the future I will try and remember to throw in a little Ayer, Wright, and Commie Bastard terms when I go on a rant which I'm prone to do from time to time. EDITED: OK, I re-read my post...it does seem to be a rant. But is doesn't change the fact Obama is a Ayers loving, Wright worshipping Commie Bastard!!
  15. Well, our doing nothing has amounted in over 400,000 deaths in Darfur. We stayed pretty silent on that one. Let's pretend for a moment that the US are the "good men" who still have any semblance of moral credibility from the time we left Vietnam: I don't think much would be lost if we "do nothing" on this one. I guess what troubles me is Obama seems far more interested in responding to a chemical attack, than he was in providing any help what so ever to four American's defending themselves and roughly 30 others against a Terrorist attack while making repeated calls for help. Nope, nothing...not a damn thing that man did to assist our men. And with the help from the 4th branch of Government, the liberal media...the truth of that night still remains a secret to the American people. I know some hear believe there is more than enough prof that chemical weapons where used, but I'm still not convinced which group used them. There were those that found it hard to trust GWB, It is equally difficult for me to trust Obama.
  16. Thanks Jerry, I thought this post moved into the archive section days ago. Stay safe, as I'm waiting on a line of thunder storms to move past before getting the Piper Saratoga back into the air.
  17. this is a great point - The breakdown is people being too much into each other's business. the bakery owner can sell a cake the customer can buy a cake cake leaves store - the owner has nothing to do with it why does the owner even need to know the details why does the customer feel obliged to give the details it's a business transaction, not a social statement - both these groups seem to have forgotten that Now that makes perfect since to me.
  18. I think you should form a militant masculist protest group. Anyhow, since I did ask you, here's an interesting article on that example: Are Women-Only Gyms Guilty of Discrimination? Interesting article...I found the comments from readers at the end of the article were mixed on allowing discrimination based on many factors.
  19. I believe Obama has been the primary one for directing drone strikes. To direct bombings and or drones on Obama might be considered illegal and quite possible interrupt his gulf game.
  20. I live here. Every day I read my entire newspaper. Every day I listen to the nightly news. I have no knowledge of this happening. *** Klein told me he received messages threatening to kill his family. They hoped his children would die. I once heard that my ex-wife's friend's schoolmate's teacher said . . . . IMO, weak, very weak. JerryBaumchen Like most things in the Media, it very well could have gotten legs and lead to he said, she said crap. Be safe...and don't forget to pull.
  21. Not sure...but I'll see if I can find it and post it. But the UN published a photo of over 400 children wrapped up in sheets that were killed by chemical weapons. And they used the photo as if it was taken in Syria. I believe, but must confirm they were caught in a propaganda move as the photo was taken many years before of Kurdish children killed by chemical warfare by Sadam.
  22. He died as he lived...braking the law, I mean neck.
  23. And most people probably did. But, just as a mental note that the bakery operated by KKK members prefers not to make cakes for interracial couples is unenforceable, so is any other mental note that talks about illegal discrimination. And, if a bakery owner were determined to be a KKK member, how much do you bet that all of a sudden the firebrands in the community would start to make sure that bakery did get business for interracial weddings? I believe that discrimination against LGBT is still legal in Texas; it's not in Oregon. Wendy P. I understand your point. Well stated
  24. Maybe I'm not using the PC words i.e. "Lifestyle" correctly. My point was the pressure placed on the business, "Within days, militant homosexuals groups launched protests and boycotts. Klein told me he received messages threatening to kill his family. They hoped his children would die. The LGBT protestors then turned on other wedding vendors around the community. They threatened to boycott any florists, wedding planners or other vendors that did business with Sweet Cakes By Melissa." “That tipped the scales,” These methods were used to force compliance as I put it...or simply get the owner to perform a service he felt uncomfortable with. They were not used to engage in civil discussion and or to build a bridge of friendship. I don't know the complete story...was the bakery militant in their beliefs? Maybe Was the Lesbian couple militant in their beliefs? Maybe I guess my main point is FREEDOM to conduct a business store front without harassment. Porn Shops, Strip joints...most people know what type of business takes place in these establishments and they make a free choice to exchange their dollars for a service. Why not make a mental note that a said Bakery doesn't sell cakes for Gay/Lesbian weddings. However if your gay and want to buy a cake for a birthday...yea come on in.
