Hi all,
Very shocked and saddened to hear this news (belatedly). I know when people lose a friend or loved one they always say that they were "liked by everyone they met", but in Andy's case - this really was true.
I too started skydiving at Stirling DZ along with Andy, and his shy and friendly manner was always welcome. He was one of few skydivers who genuinely didn't know what "ego" meant, and was always helpful to newcomers to the sport, even when he became pretty good in the air himself (despite his stature not lending itself well to aerobatics). The sport of skydiving is all the poorer for the loss of wee "Frew-man-chew"!!
Blue skies mate.
