Ok, I was just checking out the forums, reading a reply to a post I made, when all of a sudden...BAM!!!!, all the text on the screen gets super big!!!! I can see one post on the entire screen cause everything is so big. But it's only on the forums. Everything else on the puter is in "normal" size.... Works for me too. Pretty interesting, if I do say so myself. Only question I have is- Is it supposed to be one continuous track or different tracks mixed together? Not trying to scare you at all. Just wanted to give you the correct information so you could make the decision. I didn't want part of your decision based on incorrect info. And this is nothing against davelepka- alot of people have the misconception that if you have a full face helmet, CPR can't be performed. It can- having spinal cord damage is better than not breathing. Worst case scenario, you are involved in an accident, the first responders cannot perform CPR with a full face helmet on. They also are not supposed to move you (especially your head and neck) for fear of causing further injury. Just for the record, that is not true. I am CPR certified, and have been for 10 years,(so I do know what I am talking about). If a patient is not breathing and has no heartbeat, they are DEAD.. If you do nothing, they will remain DEAD. So, if your options are, take off the helmet (and possibly further damage the spinal cord) but perform CPR to try and revive this person, or, leave the helmet on (and not perform CPR) and let them remain dead- The best option is get the helmet off and perform CPR. Just figured I'd throw that out there. For about the hundreth time I can remember (a slight exaggeration) a Neurologist has explained that she is gone. Her brain is dead. She feels no pain, she is not aware of her surroundings, etc... There have only been a few Doctors that have disagreed with this (notice, only a few.). She has no idea that her body is dieing due to starvation. She doesn't feel hungry. Yes, if she were aware, this would be a horrible way to die...but she has no idea. Let her go...her parents need to stop being selfish, and allow her body to die (which is what her brain did....12 years ago).... And to answer the question "what would I do?"...I'd pull the plugs and tubes personally if I had to. I never (and I do repeat never) want to exist in a condition like that (notice I didn't say live). No machines will ever keep me alive, if I have no chance of recovery. And I would do the same for any family member.... The unfortunate thing is this- Nobody knows what happened in that classroom. At least nobody here knows. You could be right- the teacher could have overreacted, and the cuffs were way overboard. But then again, she could have been a true danger to herself, and ALL of the other students in that classroom. For whatever the reason is, maybe that little girl couldn't be controlled by the teacher, and if that meant that the only way to quiet her down was to restrain her, that's fine with me. Let me begin by saying this - The death penalty as it is used today is not a deterant for future criminals. (It's not used often enough). Here's why I think he should die (I do think he's guilty). I am sick of dirt bag criminals getting to spend their lives in prison for murdering people. Why should this low life get to spend the rest of his life in a heated/air conditioned building, getting 3 meals a day, and healthcare?
