last year the ZHills part was absolutely fantastical. So wonderful that it made me late for tunnel camp the next day.

1 new bike:1:0 went to the DZ on sunday but there was only one pilot and loads were way backed up. did one and called it a day. booooooo. bought a new bike, went apartment hunting, day at the beach. a nice relaxing weekend.

I got certified when I was 13 years old. Had done a dive in Jamaica before that when I was about 12. Dad was a PADI instructor until he blew out his ear drum testing some first run dry suit. GOt me a JR C-card through SSI back in '92 and I did my first dives on the Palancar and Paraiso reefs in Cozumel. I haven't dove in about 8 years now, but since i'm living in FL every time i drive past a dive shop....

i played classical clarinet for 15 years or so. got into manhatten school of music approved for a dual major in psych at columbia, but went to ithaca instead. switched into music therapy/psych during undergrad.

actually i did an amygdalectomy on a river rat. part of a neuro research course i took. did the anesthesia measurements, etc on my own, used an electrified drill, brain atlas and halo to measure from bregma on the skull, did stitvhe son my own and he healed just fine. had no sense of fear or memory. Super Rat. of course we had to euthanize them and put them under at the end, then i got to do brain staining and slicing.

you can have warm showers if auddie doesn't break the door and lock it again. we killed that room last memorial day.

How many jumps before you purchased your own rig?

Jump 56 I had my rig assembled and was jumping it. It was used, I pieced it together with a used J2 from Sq1, an older F111 main from a manifest friend, swift +175 reserve. no cypres. I really didn't have to be in a rush, working for the DZ I didn't have to pay gear rental, but it got old when "the good rental rig" was out, etc. I wanted to go to boogies/travel too. Replaced that main pretty quickly with a nice Spectre 150 (also used) 60 jumps later. At about 500 jumps I finally ordered custom gear. Nothing wrong with the other stuff, it just didn't fit right and I was starting to notice it. The container didn't fit my third main very well. Now I have a TJN Odyssey, Jedei 136 and used PD 126. got me a cypres too. -

one problem with your dream. you may want to pick up your tickets and wristband, freebies at the registration tent. manifest won't have it. that's the beauty of preregistering, yo don't have to go to manifest. also the staff there recommends filling out the waiver first. otherwise, not a bad dream!

I can relate to that one! Same thing happened when I moved to FL. ZHills is starting to get that "homey" feeling, but it takes a while!

actually i think haggan daaz makes a tiramisu flavored gelati which is HEAVEN. I had it somewhere, but I can't remember... it was one of the most fabulous things i've tasted in my life though!!
