i won't be there either. no $$ and not sure where i'll be living at that time. ah well. i will be at zhills for xmas though, and hope to get back to the convention next summer, it was definitely a good time. __

I think heather and I conceeded that it was to be the "heather and stacy's something or another" boogie. since heather's place is refuge in case of a monsoon, it was decided she should have part of the name. I think TK may be calling it somethign silly, like the "ZHills Holiday Boogie." HOw boring of him __

I had a nightmare moving to FL. I hired movers recommended by teh relocation guide GIVEN to me from the US postal service when i put my address forwarding info in. the rate was good, esp since it was extremely last minute. the guys showed up 14 hours late (at 5 AM, nonetheless). they were loud, disruptive, but what could I do? single chick moving 1400 miles away in two days. aye. got the van filled up, then gave me the "new" estimate. whcih was 3x the first one. they wanted 50% then in a money order. I had a MO for 1/2 the original estimate, and kindly told them that had they showed up at a normal hor when banks were open i could have gotten them the other $$. they were pretty speechless at that. The movers were late by 3 hours in FLorida and like other stories they refused to carry the stuf finto my apartment with out us paying them 10% or an under the table cash donation. again my mom and i couldn't get the stuff up ourselves adn i knew no one, so we were stuck. somehow my DVD player, and some other sentimental things got lost. funny also, that my stuff showed up in FL on a different truck bearing a different company logo than the one it had been loaded into in NJ. DON'T use transworld van lines. they've gone under i hear, i know they were BIG on the blacklist. __
