  1. I don't remember ever seeing a waiver that included either of those. I understand why they ask for any medical conditions that might make jumping unsafe, but I don't know why a DZ would have to (or want to) know about allergies or medications. Dave When I biffed in at Eloy, manifest had my medical/next of kin paperwork ready for the EMTs when they arrived. Some DZs do collect that info. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. 2. I'm arriving 10:30am Friday, fly out 6:30pm Sunday. I'm thinking of getting a car and might have one passenger already. Let me know if that works for some of y'all. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

  4. Asked my ortho about my plate and screws. He only removes them if they cause a problem. Doesn't like the possible complications from "un-needed" surgery. He has only done a couple removals. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
  5. Decided to put my name back up. I will be showing up mid day Friday. I won't be able to jump, but don't want to miss out on the event. To keep myself busy, I will offer my services as official Pack Biotch for those of you lazy flockers that don't want to pack. I warn you though, I'm not that fast, but I more than make up for it by being messy. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

  7. They can be beautiful. But are very heavy and can require special reinforcing of the cabinet frames. They are not for the novice to try. If you don't get the reinforcing in the concrete in the right locations, you will get cracks. Get references and check out their work. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. 8. I have a layoff due to injury. I am thinking of the same things, with the added worries of if the leg will be ready. Going to do simple jump with a borrowed larger canopy for a nice soft landing. Man am I looking forward to that first breath of air in freefall at 15K. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. 9. After 9 weeks of using them, I am so happy to be off of the crutches. I even went to the DZ yesterday and ended up packing. I would gladly be in cuddle mode for 6 weeks instead of being on crutches. Inconvenience doesn't capture how much crutches suck. I was able to adjust how I did things, but always having to think about doing the simplest of things like carrying your food from the kitchen to the couch can become an ordeal. Yes, I'll have some cheese to go with my whine. Now just 2 more months before I can jump again. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

    Scam

It's a scam. I replied to him just to see if he was for real. When I talked about going through a rigger, he disappeared. Went back to try and find the ad and it was deleted. I knew the price was way too good to be true. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

  13. Depends on what you are used to paying for a packjob. If you normally pay $6 for your sub 100, you are getting a discount at Eloy. The first time is saw their sliding scale, I thought it was interesting. Tiny canopy packs faster, big boat longer, hence the price difference. Not sure if I agree, but interesting. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

  15. I recently bought a rig and went with the Infinity, Sabre2 and PD reserve. That combination was the most comfortable for me. I ended up having both the container and main custom made to my liking. If you are in a hurry and don't care about custom colors, Aerodyne now has an option of buying one of their stock designed containers that has a harness made to your size. It just gets sewn into the stock container. They have the 9 cell Pilot & 7 cell Trialthon and Smart reserve. All are good canopies. This allows for one stop shopping. At PIA, they said they could ship in about 3 weeks. Good luck. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

  17. As I was told, the L and XL are the exact same shell. The size difference is made by the shim pack installed. Bonehead should have the XL shim pack still. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
  18. When I demo'd the Pilot at 1.17:1, I first rolled the nose and got 1000' snivels. Then just let the nose hang and got 800 foot snivels. The Pilot opening so slow just scared me. I was used to the "brisk" openings of the Sabre1. I went with the Sabre2 instead. Opens just a bit faster. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
  19. For a 7 cell, I'd agree with Bytch on the Spectre. If you want a 9 cell, I'd say a Pilot 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
  20. I have a way that I prefer to set my brakes. So I do them on the very few times I pay for a packjob. Most packers I know appreciate but don't require having the housekeeping done for them. But if they get backed up, the rigs with the housekeeping done get packed first because that little time savings for them gets more rigs out the door sooner. If you help them out, they help you out when you are trying to make a load. Regarding students stowing the brakes. Our FJC includes how to stow brakes and daisy chain the lines. Our DZ has an off airport landing area with a van ride back. Having loose lines and unstowed brakes makes packing a real pain. Once the student starts packing for themselves, they start to appreciate why a bit of housekeeping should be done. Besides, the steering lines will have to be untwisted less often/ shrink less if you set your toggles before you let them out of your hands after landing. 50 donations so far. Give it a try.
