I was reading the thread and thinking, "Everything is fine, Peter said in his book to always have multiple ways for people to contact you." Hey Peter, someone other than your mother has bought your book. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

I agree with bodypilot1, a Spinetto is not suited for a student. Talk to Adam or K-Bob about gear. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity -

Keith, there needs to be more people like you out there questioning and double checking stuff like this. I asked two master riggers about the concept before I followed someone's suggestion and installed it. I'm a double checker myself. I have since seen several other Talons with this addition. I have taken this rig to quite a few DZs away from home and none of them have taken pause while performing the gear check. Maybe they have a few more old Talons around with this high tech mod. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

Huh? You got a picture of that? With the rubber band installed under the reserve closing flap and over the pin cover tab, the band will not have any impact if the ripcord is pulled. The flaps will clear with the band around both. All it does is add a little resistance to the tab sliding out of its tuck hole. Pin checks are easy. This method was suggested by a rigger and other riggers I trust have had no issues with this set up. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

When I first tried to sit in my talon, the reserve pin (edit)cover(/edit) flap would open. I was shown how to use a rubber band to keep it in place. It might look ghetto, but it works. It has no impact on the reserve pin. I like my old talon and got it at a good price. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

Two stupid question to women experienced in wingsuit flying:)
monkycndo replied to Hagen's topic in Wing Suit Flying
This weekend I had the pleasure of jumping with a guy that is a bit on the shorter side and quite light. He was jumping his new Phantom and he could smoke us bigger guys. Flying the right suit for the person is what matters. It's a lot easier for a floaty person to sink than us fatties to float. Being light means you have less weight to support with your arms. Being fit is what matters. After a day of hard flying, my arms are tired. The more flights you do, the stronger you become. Get a few more jumps, some instruction and wrap yourself in the nylon. Once you try the nylon crack, you won't go back. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity -

Right now I am 84kg and 1.7m tall. My progression was a Classic, GTi, S3 to my own Phacro and recently a Ghost. I think I had 80 jumps before flying the Ghost. The Ghost is a slightly different flying style from the Phantom, but not much. I have a much easier time flying in flocks or just busting it for time and distance. The range of the suit is remarkable. The pull is about the same as on a Phantom. The arm wing is a little larger, but it doesn't seem to get in the way. Talk to the PF folks and see what they say about your skill level and demo availability. There are a lot of great suits out there, and the Ghost is one of them. I don't work for them, just a happy customer. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
