Im 16 years old and i was wondering if there were any places on the west coast where i could jump besides my home dz. Right now i have my a license and would be jumping with my father who is an affi. I know all the issues with being 16 so please dont make this a discussion on why its wrong for underage skydivers to jump. I just want to find out if i can jump somewhere else. thanks for your help Nick

I dont have that attitude bacause I have seen what happens when skydiving goes wrong. I think I know the concequences as good as some experenced skydivers.

My name is Nick I guess im Nor Cal. I live right by yosemite and jump at madera.

Madera is a good small Dz. It has friendly staff and is welcome to everyone. The dropzone has a slow pace that is refreshing to some of the bigger dz's. The only problem is that they only have one plane and it is a cesna 182. Overall I think madera is a great place to jump.

This sucks. I cant go in the air for weeks bacause of my concussion and broken jaw. I also cant snowboard, go to aikido, surf, mountainbike, or anything i can take a fall. anyone got sujestions so i dont go crazy?

Thats true but technically if an unexperienced jumper falls low of a big way and dumps right under 10 people he has the right of way too. But that doesnt mean he should do it.

If you dont like snowboarding you dont have to do it. I snowboard now after switching from skiing and i like it better. But do what ever you want. Its all about hvaing fun and not about pleasing someone else. so i say stick to skiing and have fun on the slopes. Nick
