I'm not sure what your wife likes to do but there is a big mall sort of place right next to the bridge if she wants to shop. It has a movie theater too.
I stayed at the Shilo when I was there and the rooms were good plus we got a BASE jumper rate.
The nice thing about the Shilo is they sometimes let you use a conference room for packing. There's a good mexican restaurant down the road from the Shilo too. I can't remember the name but they stay open later than most restaurants around there if I remember correctly.
What time are you leaving on Friday? I have a friend that might do Tom's class and was thinking of heading up too.
