I prefer to use the harrier and skydive down to my BASE exit point. Then use the cheat for the rig and jump. By far my favorite exit point is the little pillars sticking up off of the building with the hole in the middle, be sure to hum it low though. Greenie in training.

When will we know for sure which group we are in? Greenie in training.

Thanks for the info. I thought changing the title to include the word boobies would help but it doesn't seem to be working. Greenie in training.

Some of you may remember my thread about becoming a professional pilot. I decided to go for it. I am enrolling at a college that offers an AAS in aviation. It is a mixture of classes at the college and training at the airport. It is two years worth of classes and flying and at the end of that time they say I should have at least 300 hours of PIC time along with multi engine and flight instructor ratings. My question to you guys is, when I finish all of that and have a degree and that much PIC time what kind of job can I expect to get flying? Greenie in training.

I regularly jump with just boxers on under my jumpsuit. Makes a world of diference when it is really hot. Greenie in training.

Oh my god! That was one of the most descriptively grotesque things I have ever read. Greenie in training.

Question for an attorny-can you refuse service to anyone?
SkiD_PL8 replied to cutaway1's topic in The Bonfire
Clicky! Edited because after reading that article more thoroughly it seems service cannot legally be refused to the public if their presence isn't detrimental to the business. I don't think not liking someone falls into that category. Greenie in training. -
There I fixed it for you. Greenie in training.

Don't know if it means anything but on the surge protector there is a light that indicates that it is grounded. Greenie in training.
-
Yeah, I am worried they are going to try to say the surge came in through my cable modem and not through the surge protector. My cable modem still works though so I am pretty sure it came in through the surge protector. Greenie in training.

My computer at home got fried last week and was hooked up through a belkin surge protector. Has anyone here ever received a warranty from them for connected equipment? I just talked to a lady on the phone and from what she said it will be no problem to get my computer replaced. If you have had any experience with this please let me know how it worked out. Video: Would you ever try BASE jumping without a rig?
SkiD_PL8 replied to SuperKat's topic in The Bonfire
Funny when a skydiver makes a comment like this... since this is exactly the kind of comments we have to put up with from people who don't understand our sport! As others pointed out, the guy has skill. As nobody else pointed out, this is a repost but I'm too lazy to find the original. I remember seeing a video on this guy going through some city hopping off walls and doing flips and stuff all over the place. He's pretty amazing. That video is on this site. These guys train hard and it is definitely skill. Most come from martial arts and spent a good deal of time developing their bodies to a point where they can achieve things like that video demonstrated. Greenie in training. -
I heard that guy over there cares. Greenie in training.

Funny story, I would hate to be the guy that had to insert the pickle though, or the one receiving it for that matter. For future reference if I am ever being an obnoxious drunk around any of you. Just let me know you plan on sticking a pickle in my ass when I fall asleep and I will probably straighten up and fly right lol. Either that or I will get as far away as possible. Why do Tandem Instructors complain all day?
SkiD_PL8 replied to RockHard's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I agree, I have it set to center so it still keeps it's quality but if you have a higher res version I would love to have it as well. Greenie in training. -
I woke up nicely this mourning as well, but the way I was waken up made me an hour late for work. Greenie in training.

A couple of people told you roll ons are the way to go, I disagree. Clutching up wheelies is the most controlable way to do them. It is the most predicatable. If you don't beleive me go watch some stunt videos and watch how the guys that do it for a living bring them up. Have fun and don't die. Greenie in training.
