No, not all guys are assholes. I had to learn that the hard, painful way, but at least I've learned it. I ALLOWED myself to go through HELL so that I could appreciate HEAVEN, which is what I'm doing now. My boyfriend ROCKS!!!! (And I will NEVER go through HELL again)! You listening KC? I lost my dad AND my mom to smoking related diseases. My dad died of lung cancer at the age of 80. Mom wasn't lucky enough to live past 56. Emphysema took her from us. I'm sorry for your loss. It's hard, I know. I miss both my parents so much! I always will. And you will always miss your dad. Your tribute is beautiful! I'm sure he is looking down, and is so proud of you. My most humble wishes for peace and consolement go out to all those who were close to Scotty. I didn't get the chance to get close to him, but am grateful we chatted on New Year's Eve by the bonfire. I also did not know Brooke personally, however I am close to some who are deeply affected by this tragedy. My sympathy and prayers for comfort go out to Brooke's loved ones, and all who were positively touched by Brooke. It saddens me that we have lost yet another "family" member. I'm sorry Harry, my tears are falling as I type. I am going to miss you so much! We will all miss seeing you out at Elsinore. Thank you for all of your warm, cheerful hugs, sincere advice and for always eating my chocolate chip cookies; even the burnt ones! lol See, you make me laugh even from so far above. Hi kids, just wanted to say thanks to those who set me straight re: my post on Roger Nelson. I'm still really clueless as to how this posting stuff works on DZ.com. I didn't realize the thread I was reading was from five years ago. I wasn't a skydiver back then as I've only been jumping for four years, so I wasn't aware of the circumstances. Still, I wish those close to Roger continued comfort and peace. Let's all continue to be on our toes and stay safe out there for ourselves, and for those who love us. Tanya "Wanna cookie little boy?"

More sadness for the skydiving "family". This is the first I've heard of this. It truely saddens me. I'm sorry for everyone over at Perris. We at Elsinore are still coping with the loss of our Shindig. Tears and prayers go out to those close to Keith. May he fly fast and happy in heaven~Tanya "Wanna cookie little boy?"

The shindig for our beloved Shidig was quite a shindig! His memorial service was honorable, beautiful, funny and sad. I was amazed at the turnout. He is loved by so many! His ashdive was incredibly beautiful and I'm so happy his wife made her first tandem. The smile on her face said it all~She gets it! Looking at his photos posted around the DZ is comforting. Like he's there. Pat Newman did a wonderful job putting together his memorial video. I think we were laughing/crying all at the same time. I will miss him. I wish his loved ones peace and comfort. Shindig, you were and STILL are one of my favorites! Thanks so much for your warm hugs and for always telling me I smelled good! Yes, a novelty jump plane it must be. But thank God for them! They add so much to the skydiving experience in my humble opinion. I've not had the chance to jump it and was so looking forward to jumping from it this summer, if possible. But I would settle for a raft-dive out of the skyvan. It's been my dream since my first tandem back in '04. I hope the jet isn't put out of commission permanently. "Wanna cookie little boy?"
